Earl ran 11 for the "million" guess because he won't bet right now that he can do it on his next break(and actually do it) that everybody that was there and saw it along with Earl is a liar and it never happend and couldn't have happend cause he can't do it on demand.

It may be impractical (and I agree that betting you can make your high run in 30 days is very risky), but it is what the poster said he could do. If RKC really wanted to "call" him on it, he would accept it on those terms - that the poster has 30 days to post a video of himself breaking and running 12 racks.

How many racks of consecutive runs of 8-ball on a 7-foot Valley bar table would it take to compare in difficulty to Mosconi's 526 run of 14.1 on an 8-foot table with what some would say were "generous" pockets?

Whatever that number may be, could somebody be expected to reach it in a 30-day trial run?

Nobody has beaten Willie's record for whatever reason.

Three or four racks in a row, really never kept track .
Never good enough to keep track.

Normally I can hold the top table for about 15 racks , then I am tired or bored ready for a break .

Yep...he bet 5 k I can't do it in 30 days....So post 5k and I'll try to do it again...I don't I'm out nothing .

Why would I bet money without a chance of making money by winning the bet? A bet requires equal investment on both parties, I'm not willing to put up money for nothing in return.....I already told you....you're so full of shit it's a joke. If you're going to match my bet then we can do something....if you're not willing to post up with me, then it's simple....you can't do it and you know it.

All I can say about this thread is that I'm not sure that SVB would take a bet to run 12 racks in a row in 30 days.

I think that the most I've run in a row was 4 racks of 8 ball on a bar box, but to make a bet that I could do it again in 30 days is something that I would never do.

He's full of shit which is why he's avoiding my offer to bet him because even he won't bet on himself to run 12 racks like he claims he can. Now he wants to sidetracked the 12 rack claim to fame by wanting to play me for money instead....I quit playing pool January 1990 to work on pool tables full time....so i wouldn't end up being a broke ass pool player making claims I can't back up for the rest of my life.

12 pack

I'm still wondering about my personal chances of a 12 pack.

So, I know I have run 5 racks on a valley playing 8 ball a few times. I'd guess maybe 4-5 times. Usually in a set that finished.

Once in my life I ran out from a lot of breaks in a row. It was an alternate the break tournament, races to 3, and I think I broke and ran something like 11-13 racks in a row from my breaks. This was every other rack through multiple sets so I don't count this as a run. Diamond tables, but fairly new slidy cloth, they spread apart on the break like a complete joke.

I keep coming back to the idea of having to make that many balls on the break. Forget about running out, how many tries would it take to just pocket a ball on the break without scratching 12 times in a row? That would be quite a challenge. I don't think it would happen all that often.

I'm not saying no one has run 12 racks. You play pool your whole life you're going to zone out, catch some good breaks, and do something incredible once in a while. But I personally wouldn't want to bet on it myself.

But, coming back to where this all started...I think anyone that DOES post a 12 rack run is a player. Maybe they aren't an elite player, but I would have to imagine they are regionally competitive at the least, and could cash deep in some pro events. Just my thoughts.
