How many years did it take for you to get past the 3rd grade......7? Witnessed accomplishments are just that, witnessed, that means there's proof. There is NO proof when a big mouth comes on AZ and claims running 12 racks of 8 ball on a bar box, not even the name of the guy he supposedly ran the 12 pack on. Yet he makes a claim that he could do it again within 30 days because he needs to practice if he's going to be required to do it again....but then....he don't have the balls to back up his bet with any money from bim....now he wants to play for free and do it again....just as long as HE don't have to risk any of his money!!!

In the mid 70s, Bobby put together 18 on a Valley bar box and lost to Mexican Joe. Bobby was so buried when he did it that it did not even get him even. While Bobby Legg and Patch-Eye were traveling together in the 80s, they stopped in my place. Jaffar could play some one-hole.

Still haven't got past 3rd grade.

How many people video their play? Not many. Therefore, there would not be any record of the event.

I don't know the guy, maybe he did, maybe he didn't, but I do believe Dennis.

Even if you look at the odds, imagine thousands of "capable" players, playing for 10 - 50 years each and you're gonna find yourself right in the middle of seeing it happen - you should expect to see it happen.

One small difference though; I broke the last game and missed a very tough shot that I felt would have given me the run out if I made it but missed and then my opponent ran out. So I lost 5 - 4 in one inning...lol.

How often does that happen?

Not sure if you were my opponent that night or not but it was the best match I ever had, regardless.

Best of Luck; I am sure we met up, at some point, at Shooters, CR Billiards or the pool hall down the road from CR Billiards (now Two Stooges, I think).

You're missing the point, yes I do agree there's been players in the past that have ran 10+ racks, Mike Massey has to his credit a 13 pack in 9 ball, during a tournament, that was before Earls million dollar challenge of 10+ racks. Mike D put a 10 pack on Johnny A during the tournament in Galveston, won the flip, broke and ran 10 and out....verified. Johnny A put a 13 pack playing 9 ball on Francisco D....verified. So, excuse me if I don't believe a nobody ran a 12 pack of 8 ball on a bar box like it was nothing hard to do, because he.claimed he could do it again at will within 30 days with some practice. If the idiot just posted a video of himself running one rack....that in itself would be enough proof needed to at least shoe he has the skills to even run 2 racks in a row....but that would also let the cat out of the bag as to his being full of shit as well....because then everyone cod judge for themselves as to just exactly what kind of skills he has.
 
I didn't read it that he meant he could do it on command after 30 days of practice. But rather that if he tried for 30 days straight somewhere in there between day 1 and day 30 he would have a string of 12 BNR in a row. I think you underestimate the number of tries one can get in in 30 days.

How about the number of tries in 30 years having never accomplished a 12 pack by millions upon millions of players.....is that the same thing?
 
Like I already posted, unverified high runs are always going to be higher than verified real feats of accomplishments....in other words, BS will always surpass reality-based facts, and whom ever bullshit the best will always be the record holder:rolleyes:
 
I think there is a story of someone making like 28 9 ball combos in one game. I guess related in a way. Stories get exaggerated over the years.

So you profess to know what every top pro and shortstop in the country has run? The only format you will see these lifetime high runs is in practice or action. There aren't events where guys are playing all offense, no safety pool.

There's a world of difference between us. You just want to dispariage people, make ireational arguments and call people liars when they do things you can't comprehend. I know what I've done with my game, I know how to matchup with all kinds of players. Guys like you talk trash and never bet a dollar...while I'm playing 12 hr sessions til sunrise. Getting that money.
