I was at the event first hand and seen this happen right in front of me. I am a pool hall owner and conducted business with Cue & A Promotions which most of you have no clue what that even is and come on here and comment like you know everything. Erica worked at Buffs for months and put on this event personally last year for the first time. She got the catering, brought in the players, started the hype and she brought in BigTruck to stream the OnePocket side of the event. Erica streamed the 9Ball last year and he had the OnePocket. This was 100% Erica's event conducted at Buffalos in New Orleans.
This year, she doesn't work for Buffalo and both of them been promoting this event for months. I wasn't there when the LapTop issue happened so I can't tell you what happened there. I was there last night and BigTruck came on multiple occasions by her equipment and kept pulling the plug and messing with her phone she was streaming from. She was showing the Randy Whalen and Dennis Orcullo match and he was broadcasting Efrens match. Obviously, he's pissed because it is hurting his viewing but they are both hired by the business to conduct the show. The OnePocket doesn't even start until today and it was side action.
The big altercation last night started when Richie was going play on Ray's stream against Chris Gentile for $500/gm. Erica was still streaming the Orcullo match and BigTruck came over before Richie and Chris started playing and grabbed her phone again because he thought she would show the Richie match. The problem everyone had was that Richie needed the action and he told Erica to just back off and listen to Ray. Erica, Ray and Richie all got into it because Richie was saying how he wouldn't play on stream unless he was compensated months ago and the next thing you know he's taking up for BigTruck and not Erica. Someone went get Buff and he came in and brought both of them to the back. When they came back, Erica took down her camera and didn't stream the rest of the night. She said Buff told her that BigTruck has a big name and he brings in a lot of people like him and he was the one who got Efren to play in his event so please stop streaming for the night. Me and 10 other people were sitting right there when everything happened. Y'all internet people that sit and speculate all the bs is a joke and no one ever states the story first hand.
Kid Dynamite, you talk all this stuff about the owner of the venue being at fault. He hired 2 streamers for the event. If you were at a professional broadcast and you had ABC and NBC broadcasting the coverage and a producer from ABC destroys NBC equipment so they have the only coverage, would you still side with ABC?
I've owned my pool room for 6 years btw and conducted business with this guy for the first 3. He treats your staff like complete crap and is a real piece of work behind the scenes. Many pool room owners will state the same thing and now the Facebook Live is out, good luck to all the pay per view. Mark my word, I've been told by over 5 people that they will be broadcasting the event all weekend from their phone and dare the old bigtruck to touch there phone......
