I think Efren got set up with action matches that were played on the stream and Daniel is the one who set them up. I have from first hand experience saw that players who have a good following get perks like free entry, rooms, food/drink, travel and whatnot as promoters want them to attend.
As for this whole matter I don't have many kind words for Ray as he has done me wrong in the past being an abrasive jerk to me and coming into my stream putting it down and messaging people to watch his long ago before he started doing PPVs. He had that incident with Upstate Al in the past which I don't remember all the details but something about a girl and a bathroom in his home. My friend Corner Market Bob aka CMWBSU really got taken by him with a loan of $10,000 that wasn't repaid and called a gift.
Ray started streaming with the intentions of making it his business and livelihood without question so what Erica is doing is hurting that. I don't feel sorry for him because of him being the way he was in the past to me and others especially when it was unwarranted. By treating myself and other streamers the way he did and being so disliked by this small group he has hurt his own business because many of us cross promote and support one another.
I like being apart of a group like Accu-Stats who started it all and TAR which I hope would make a comeback, Danny with POV who is a good guy, Upstate Al and all his hard work and CMBWSU and all the people who have promoted streaming out there. I have never met Ray and could care less too, he will be in my backyard for the Frost and Efren match which I doubt I will attend. Feel free to tune in to my FREE stream of the challenge match between Rodney and Scott in a couple of weeks. :wink:

Read the next line. I said I wasn't there for the laptop so I wasn't going to comment about that. The next line states I witnessed him touching her phone on multiple occasions. And since I don't have any knowledge, let my accountant show you all my receipts and everything we've paid that guy over a 4 year spand! Do you even own a pool room or paid him a penny to conduct business with him? How much did he cost your business? I was one of the first paying customers of his program and worked with him for 4 years. He treated my employees like complete crap and every single person that worked for me for years. I put up with the bullshit from him for years until he told me one day that he was to high class now that he does major events now so we wasn't good enough for him. Last year we remodel our venue and add more tables and a lot more room and guess who comes try to suck our cocks? The man himself, asking to do more shows for us since we had one of the premiere rooms in the south. Well guess what the answer was? We are pleased to do business with Robert Dorsey and watchpool.net because he is not only passionate about the sport, he and his wife travel around and treat my customers and my employees with respect. If you or anyone else had a clue what goes on behind the scenes with this guy, y'all might feel the same way. This stuff that is happening with Erica is just of show of his true colors and the world will see what kind of person he really is.

If someone is coming to your room and doing a PPV stream they should be paying you or adding money, if you are paying them then they are making out like a bandit. PPV streams bring a very small number of viewers I would say from 100 to 500 tops when a free stream of the same event could bring 10,000-50,000 views if not more.
Not a personal problem at all sir. Just backing up Erica because she was completely right and should have called the cops with him tampering with her equipment me and many others were there first hand and witnessed it.

And you also have to find him (2) $250 commercial ads or the room has to pay the company.
At the end of the day, well over 1500 and won't sink a penny into your tournament from Pay Per View. Y'all wonder why he hates Erica's Free Stream or hates what Shane Winters post.

The only statement that will be made is you all want to trade high quality streaming for shitty cell phone streaming.
I can't speak for your experiences with Ray but mine have always been good. I have sat beside him several times now for the whole weekend and seen him be friendly and good to everyone around him. I have seen him be there first thing in the morning and be the last to leave each day. I have seen him shuttle players around, arrange for backers and guarantee that the backers also pay expenses for their players.
I have seen him take all his gear and stream an exhibition team challenge at a college for FREE just to promote pool.
I don't know the exact details of what went down of course but if you all go through with this shit of streaming from your phones I hope Ray packs his gear and him and Efren hit the road.
Ray, come to Oklahoma City and I promise you that I will get 10 people to spend $200-$500 to spend time with Efren. Some of us appreciate what you do and understand the sacrifices you are making for the love of this sport.
Some free streamers will do your event for $1500 or so and you will get way more exposure then the limited viewership of a PPV audience. I don't get how any room would pay that much for a guy to come in there and make money on a PPV. You were much too kind.
Are viewers and views the same thing? When we did the one pocket match we had 2k viewers. Are views counted as each time a user logs in and off?
I ask because I can't think of any pool stream that has had much more than 2-3k in unique viewers online at a give time.
Maybe that is telling about the "smarts" of this guy
If you have a superior product then the FREE streams shouldn't matter all that much and I think those who pay for his streams will continue even if Erica is streaming there. Ray does it for the money first and foremost which is fine but this guy doesn't do it for the love of the game. I put in countless hours streaming for the love of the game as has Al, Daniel, Alvin and many others. I know Al and Daniel have done PPV streaming but have done much more for FREE to viewers which helps to promote the game, tournaments and rooms.
