Like crap and it's way off specs of a true pro table.
The top rails are too low. The corner pockets have too wide of an opening so it has become infamous ( The Olhausen Rattle ). Even if it has a much bigger opening than Diamond.
Never mind the weak frame.
How does a 9' Olhausen play compared to a 9' Diamond if both have same cloth and balls? Are the rails and pockets similar?
Easy.
A toyota to a ferrari.
I'll take a GC before a Diamond. Johnnyt

Never Diamonds bank shorter?....LOL....Really??....I guess banks are one of your weak areas....LMAOI actually think the rails on my old Olhausen were better than the Diamonds. I have a Gold Crown III that I have had redone with Simonis.
Diamonds always seem to bank short, and the other night a top player in my area said that he had noticed that some bank short, and the newer ones bank SHORTER.....
Overall, i think Diamonds are more solid, yet overpriced.

I have an Olhausen and wish I had something else. I bought it many years ago when they were the manufacturer sponsoring tournaments.
The biggest difference for me is the boingy rails vs the dead rails of an Olhausen. The Diamonds play more straight forward than an Olhausen. By that I mean you don't have to worry about the pocket rattle (as many have said, it is real) as much , the rails play more true to your angle and not as altered by speed or spin and and the rails do not add or reduce spin as much. Most of that is due to the speed needed to carry off the rails of an Olhausen vs a Diamond.
Olhausens are beautiful pieces of furniture. But if you can afford it I recommend a Diamond.
