Sorry for the weird question. I got some private lessons from a well known pro and he corrected my stance...it seems to work well but every time I shoot, the cue grazes my nipple and it feels weird! I like the action I'm getting from the new stance but it feels odd everytime I shoot. Is this something u just get used to?

The first legitimate answer . This use to happen to me before I changed my stance. I now square off more like a Snooker player and in the process improved my accuracy.

I don't have that problem. But then, I have an inverted nipple on my right side .

So it feels good when you stroke. Sounds your new stance has built in positive reinforcement to let you know when you're out of form.

You have the nip stroke too?

Kidding aside watch some snooker videos on youtube.
The chest is part of their alignment.

The instructor squared my stance and that's when the nip slip started happening.

Did you lose power?
Jason Shaw was a snooker player but changed his stance to "pool" stance.

He recommended to square my stance when shooting angles on my left side...it seemed to have given me more power. He said that j was too sideways on my stance.
