Francisco, Dennis' backer, is 100% legit.

Dennis just had a horrible first two days in the first match and everything was working for T-rex. After that, Dennis came back even from being down about 10 games?

$50K a guy is a lot, but not huge for a 4 day match. And this is backer's money, not pool player.

Where are they making all this money??? Live stream? Lololol.

4or 5 days of hotel for 2 guys plus the backers are most likely there, so hotels for them also.

Don't forget the guys doing the stream plus JJ. Do you think they eat while they are there? I'm guessing yes.

How about travel costs for all these people?

Agreed, tho there's always going to be those that question, which can be a good thing. I know raising two girls, they questioned/tested me often. And once in awhile I too learned something.

Now sour grapes? That's on the menu....:p
 
As far as I am concerned, I do not care who got the money, how much, or what the supporting cast received.

I do hope that all parties, well maybe excepting Tony, are satisfied with their pay for the four days.

Finally, KUDOS to all the commentators! JJ and Shannon were very knowledgeable and entertaining.

Ray and Justin did a nice job, also.

Hope to see more of these type events.

I feel a small tipping point with your last sentence/that's a good thing....there's definitely MORE going on now....than ever before with the ''boyz'' $$/Opportunity. This might fast track it/help out the game.....money matches. My concern is this, the visual product. It feels like there's a Great opportunity, like the Mosconi days, to dress ''real'' nice and comfortable, but look SHARP, like the PGA golfers, like Cole Dixon, like Liscotti, like Rempe. It's a moment in time GUYZ, where this could put it over the edge. Why, because so many youngins nowadays are attracted to ones looks than ones inner character. Ricky Jones? Golfer, dresses in Orange, Payne Stewart/Golfer, wore knickers, boy he looked sharp. I'm talking to yah young guns spend a little (wardrobe) to make More $$$.....it's time.

Dream would be JJ, Incardona and Frost. Then let them argue.

The single funniest thing I ever watched was Corey D, Incardona & Frost commenting on a One Pocket match. I "pissed" myself. Corey pointing out crazy shots. Incardona lock down mode and Scott being bipolar and going both ways. Three big personalities with different ideas.
