deanoc,
Try the Becue with the Prime shaft and their extension and you'll sell all your other stuff.
. ???I about positive that Predator made on years ago an even named it, it was a machine that just held a shaft and it the cue ball
same place and speed every time.
In another thread I read Bob Meucci had made one as well but no one ever confirmed it.
Not everyone's been on here since phones still had dials.. ???
Predator - Iron Willie
Meucci - Myth Destroyer
Both have been discussed a hundred times over in the last 15+ years. I and others have discussed as nauseum what’s wrong with the Myth Destoyer’s design.
Freddie <~~~ they invented 10-ball yesterday
Carbon shafts revolutionized golf and tennis and hockey can pool be far behind.
I can’t be the only one who noticed and could hear my stroke pretty loud when using one....not condemning just recognizing the oddity

Hey, who's this new mexican 9 ball player, cesar morales?? Anybody seen him play?
For many purist, playing with a synthetic shaft is akin to a MLB player using an aluminium bat. Some "advances" in technology are like a 3 dollar bill.![]()
If you mean low deflection is more forgiving of stroke errors, that’s only true if the longer pivot length is closer to your bridge length. I think pivot lengths for “normal” squirt are about 8”-12” - low deflection is only more forgiving if your bridge is longer than that. Otherwise it’s actually less forgiving.

I like my Revo. Good feel, powerful, consistent. The best thing is that I barely clean it, no need for a glove.
Thanks.Hey Patrick, nice to see you posting again.
I think a low-squirt Revo squirts less than a normal-squirt maple shaft. Not sure what bridge length has to do with it...?Interesting idea. I'm curious: do you believe that a Revo shaft has more or less squirt than a typical solid maple shaft when using a shorter bridge. Say an 8" bridge. Also, lets say both are 12.9mm, and have the same tip. I'm not talking about effective squirt using any techniques like backhand english or the like. What do you think?
Thanks,
KMRUNOUT

Could be; it's a popular idea. I don't think it can matter unless the bridge is much more tight and rigid than a human hand.Perhaps he has in mind that some minor shaft flex is part of the equation to produce low deflection. Then perhaps he is thinking a shorter bridge prevents that flex.
The REVO and the Becue play very differently.
To ME, the Becue feels and plays more like a wooden shaft, but "better".
I have an Ultra-skin soft tip on mine and it plays "quiet". Their is no "loud" sound while stroking or when the tip hits the cue ball.
