WPA Ranking of the Final Four
Shaw 26th
Szewczyck 32nd
Tevez 87th
Kaci outside the Top 100

Fargo Ranking of the Final Four
Shaw 6th
Szewczyck 15th
Tevez outside the top 100
Kaci 8th

Yeah, seeding by WPA ranking makes a whole lot of sense. If you buy the WPA rankings, you'd have to consider this the most improbable final four in a major event in a long time.

Of course, if you're more interested in who the best players are, WPA ranking just didn't get it done here.

Even though it's 9ball, these are the current Matchroom rankings

Shaw, Kaci and Szewczyck all tied for 6th
Tevez 32nd

That’s definitely why we need a proper global pro tour. They’ve assigned rankings to whichever event pays the sanctioning. But ultimately it seems like the top ranked players in the WPA are the ones that travelled to the most events. I’ve never cared much about their rankings because they don’t mean anything. I can tell you more or less roughly where all the snooker players are ranked, but I haven’t a clue about the WPA ranking.

Unfortunately, the Matchroom rankings aren't yet dependable because they are new, but by the end of 2022 they'll be very valuable.

Wow what an out by Kaci. He jumped kicked and banked his way to tied up 7 -7.. Great semi final here!

Yeah Kaci started out a little shaky but has settled into a zone right now.

Wow. These guys have been slogging through hill-hill matches all night, and its hill-hill again, and the play is pretty high-level with the occasional hiccup. I'd be in a coma by now.

Advantage Wojciech:LOL:

This was one of the very best matches of 2022 to this point. What a show they put on! Either would have been deserving of victory. Nice runout on the double hill by Szewczyck. Bravo!

Zielinski won last week at the Las Vegas Open. Will the great contingent from Poland make it two in a row?

I get the feeling the Shaw wins big, or Tevez wins a close one.
I love an underdog, but I have hard time seeing anything other than Shaw cruising to a 10-4 win or something like that. Hoping for a match as good as the last one though.
