I heard' as much as 50% of the twitter accounts - may be fake accounts, after dealing with some of the fake news facebook cowards here on az - I believe that statistic. Their m.o. being to reaffirm woke media/cancel culture lie's - then laugh or poke fun at those who seek truth, very sad to invest and try to prop up the recent media lie's being fed to public about 14.1.

As Jason stated in his interview "there are no rules in high run competition" I would think after that statement from Shaw - Lou and chamberlain would be at least interested in as much validation as possible - maybe not? :-( While it's nice to look on bright side about a new standard being set for 14.1 high run competition - I would maintain that it's not worth the cost of erasing our current official World Records.

I am definitely not defending the BCA, but as these record attempts have happened and issues and controversy has grown, all they have done is tried to add more and more criteria to standardise it and request a bare minimum of information.
Lessons learned.
Which, I support.

At the end of the day, these are exhibition records.
Impressive runs, more for the serious players.
Joe Public has not really paid much attention, these events are not the ones that will get more money into the game, sponsors or boost the profile for TV coverage.

So here, people get emotional and deeply involved in these attempts.
A casual member of the public reading say this thread.. Would click off it quickly due to the drama.
So, at least for future events... Avoid drama, then all focus is on the achievement.
