I imagine that's the root of the problem. I'd bet the owner just has the crew replace the cloth... period. The owner is not the sort of person who will be too concerned about this.

I heard it used to be a billiard table.Hopefully they pulled the bed cloth as tight as the rail cloth! lol
Not really her fault. First day or whatever.
Most times if a place (could be any kindof place shoe store...salon...resturaunt.. tavern. Music shop..ect ect. ) has piss poor employees it's a direct reflection of management and ownership. good management keeps good employees. And good ownership keeps good management.
I'm laid back patient and polite in public ...but if I notice this all the time at an establishment I quit giving them my money. And find somewhere else to go That has ownership and management that cares.
it's pretty common to see management asleep at the wheel. Alot of times the owners are clueless as well because they aren't paying ehuff attention or never there themselves.. then they wonder why their business is broke in less than three years.
I've seen smaller but good restaurants sink because they hire a bad cook. (How you can own a restaurant and not know your cook sucks?)
you give me a bad meal my first time at a place. I might come back just to give a second chance. If that time is bad too. I'll tell 5 people the place sucks. Those five people multiple into 5000 potential customers not showing up because they all heard the place sucks. Now add that up over a few months of people coming in and experiencing a bad cook till you figured it out . ...the reputation damage is already done
If your a pool hall and your tables suck. Lmao. Might as well throw a match next to a gassed rag in the corner after close. People aren't going to show up. Burn it and get the insurance money.
It is a delicate balance.......I forget how I arrived at a number long ago, before internet, but when I owned a storefront I figured it took twenty people talking good about you to offset one person talking bad. I tried to piss off less than one person in a hundred. I have to admit it sure felt good when I decided I could piss off a particular person sometimes.

where is this place, Redwood City? This is in the closest room to me -- about five minutes. They just recovered the tables after about five years of beer spills. The installer seems to have ignored the elephant. Bank shots are interesting....

Well there you go naming names.I’m guessing Tap Haus near the Cal Berkeley campus
You might even get it to follow back to the rail a couple of times for a direct hit.I bet you could probably make the object ball curve after coming off that rail.
I usually say 'aNY pool is better than no pool', but nothing is always.View attachment 690898
Is that tip shape something new? Maybe called the "reverse dime" ??
Dimpling.that also can happen if you pull too tight down on the cloth when stapling
If the outer concentric circular area is softer and the inner circular area is harder what impact do you hypothesize it would have on the miscue limit?
What is the shape and shape material is an educated phrasing of your question.
Your welcome.
