Seeing how Qatar is the home of Hamas i don't see the WPA getting much good press anytime soon. Doesn't look good when one of your 'marquee' events is played in the hometown of a bunch of jackoffs that slaughters innocents at a concert. 'Bad optics' would be a colossal understatement. And now that the WPA is bringing down the ban hammer on Europe's best from MR events, looks like the US will be dominating the Mosconi Cup for a few years.
Taking wins citizens refuse to take.Another immigrant taking a job from an American![]()
Shaw has no reason to switch sides. Fedor does and the very best of luck to him.maybe Shaw can switch sides and Bergman agrees to play and i will give USA the edge lol
obviously i'm a team europe fan but i don't begrudge this, one can really tell that fedor has his heart in america. and there's no doubt he wants to become an american citizen. any interview with the guy makes that very obvious. but what if he doesn't get citizenship?
Shaw may well have permanent resident status by now. He's been living here long enough that's for sure.maybe Shaw can switch sides and Bergman agrees to play and i will give USA the edge lol
Yep. Think he could play for either side. Maybe he could just be an extra that gets called in if one team is getting roasted.Shaw may well have permanent resident status by now. He's been living here long enough that's for sure.
He's awol. I've asked this recently and no sightings. Can we get Ruslan too?
Does he still play pool?
I have always felt that Canadians are just like from another state, not another country.Well, I’m a Canuck….but like most pool players up here, I always cheer for the USA every year.
So, I‘m delighted.
He lives here now. Working on being citizen. Bring on 'you-rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr-up'.Happy he's playing for the US and he's a breath of fresh air in the game. Also have to wonder how much Matchroom influenced this to keep the event from being too lopsided again. But I'll be more interested in watching this year.
