Not gonna lie, had no idea what FNF meant so I googled it....
Seems like there is a finance meaning, a couple slang meanings, and even a special meaning on Grinder.
Given the wide range of meanings for this ambiguous acronym, I wouldn't just be throwing out 'yessir's lol. Reading back your exchange with the different meanings in mind sure does change things quite a bit.

Can't say I don't agree. Filler should absolutely be there and I don't give a shit about the politics. I just want to see great pool. I'm not sure it is appropriate to add Gorst to the American side. Don't get me wrong, I love that Gorst is living and embraced the US but I don't think he should be playing. To me, the spirit of the event is American born vs. European born. If they water the event down to just making money, then the event has no meaning anymore.
