CSI banned me from BCA state tournament due to a google review

On the one hand, I doubt this is the way Mark would have wanted CSI to handled this.

We killed many a brain cell drinking beers after hours at a few Vegas events and time at dinners, phone calls and what not. The folks currently at CSI should pause and ask themselves if they are modeling what Mark's spirit was all about.

OTOH, you have pretty much screwed the pooch with your Scorched Earth approach so now you will have to harvest those results.

No one wins. I suggest you give it a bit and hopefully you and CSI can come to a resolution. Undoubtably you will have to make the first move.

CSI may be in violation of the CRFA. You can't punish a consumer for publishing a negative review.

Pretty sure the current administration did away with any type of consumer rights divisions.

yeah. A google review. This one.

My vet did the same thing knowing there isnt another vet within 100 miles of my small town. Not caring at all about the health of my animals and making it about a grudge against my review. This also happened with a property management company years back. They would not rent to me again. Forks Washington. Customer service no longer exists anymore. Indifference is at an all time high.

Look at the Tool running it.

...snip...

Didn't Ozzie from CSI get banned from AZ years ago? I can't remember the circumstances, but I think that happened.
He was an ass from what I recall communicating with others.

He strikes me as a no-nonsense guy. Doesn't suffer fools lightly. A player sends him 50 emails, he fires them. He gets things done instead. That's my impression after watching (from afar) CSI continue to grow the past 10-15 years since he took over.

Yeah I did some searching. I think he got banned for having multiple accounts. It had a lot to do with how they treated JCIN after the takeover. I think they sort of took advantage of his whole TAR operation and sent him on his way.

If league pool was a buy or sell stock -- I'd sell right now at a high. I think they are going to hit a wall in the next couple of years because one of their systemic advantages is being able to rate players, and then use this insider information to field competitive team events. Players qualify, get rated, and go play their state team event.

Well as payouts dwindle -- it doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize they can just run their own big unaffiliated event. Payouts are almost always better at these types of events. All the rating work has been done with Fargo ratings being available. Here in Michigan, where the OP'er is from, another unaffiliated big event has been announced -- The Grand Rapids Open.

Once players leave these leagues I'm not sure they'll have enough young players coming up to replace them. I could be wrong. Guess we'll see in the coming years.
