All the dings in the shaft are an integral part to getting the feel of the cue. :) Just like lining up the shot with the bend towards the table or away from the table depending on what you are doing.

Buy an Axiom. They cost about $45 but it is a jump break and it hits about as good as any sneaky pete cue I have played with both custom and production.
