Jackpot you may be the type to take it but I’m not. And if you would like to discuss this in person we will see who the whiner is. Where will you be attending next so we can see if you have the same confidence away from your keyboard sir.

JasonLaus they showed they didn’t wanna handle it like men and called security and was looking to call the cops on me. Therefore I guess we will have to handle it the way that keeps me out of jail which is the gaming option.

I am certain that" everyone" signs a waiver that is admitted to" not" gamble and not hold the derby or casino responsible! Going to the gaming commission and admitting violation of the agreed upon terms is certainly far from wise!!!

since we live in a land with laws ,it seems that calling the security was the right thing to do

since making threats is a form of battery and illegal, you might be exposing yourself to legal action

call the gambling commission,quit threatening

what difference will it make? they don't care whether people gamble on a pool table
they were probably present and witnesses of this game anyway

i am laying 3 to one the derby will go on as usual, the commission will laugh and nothing will happen

should george breedlove trip and bruise a toe,we all know who will be the suspect

i am 75 and a known coward,no need to threaten me

Here it is...my buddy also bet and lost on this match. George is "steering" carl. Justin "road man" plays carl one handed, jacked up,against carls two hands ,9ball,bar table for "alot" of money. Justin wins the first set... Second set, justin is up 5-2 going to 9 when carl announces the window is open(down 5-2 and also down 1 set) the poolroom immediatly bets all they can against carl(he,s DOWN 5-2 and takes ALL bets from that point going to 9) well...you guessed it...justin doesn,t win another game and carl wins 6-7 in a row so naturally it looks very fishy to say the least....who opens the window DOWN 5-2 going to 9? Obviously carl does. Does it mean business was going on? You can,t prove it but ...how does it look if you had carl? Now you know what happened. I know a well known player who personally lost 10k on it when the window was opened.

i remember one time i decided toplay jersey red for money in a crowded tounament in front of 100s of sweaters

my plan was to help Red with his financial straits without causing him to turn down charity,I had no intention of winning,I played as bad as I could,no one in their right nmind would bet on me ,but if he did and lost I don't know or care

If he asked for permission,I would tell him not to.
If he didn't he would be getting in my business

It just so happened after losing 8 or 10 games Red quit, everyone in the house wanted to play me.
I played danny medina a confusing proposition bet and broke the house including Danny.

Would this be considered dumping? Never in a million years, people shouldn't try to steal from an old man just because he is generous

Now strange things happen,I have been in easy games.allowed my opponent to get ahead and raised the bet

This is standard operating proceedure, when I begin to play to win ,it is called "COMING OFf THE STALL"

Almost every decent player in the world uses this technique. It is not Dumping, when I pulled this on
a great well known hustler, after the game he came over and complimented me.,.Cannon ball

He then asked if I would like to go with him to a few spots, said he wanted a partner who knew how to handle himself

"AW SHUCKS "said I

We left town and I came home with money to buy mom a new house ,and so did he.

Many the road agent goes broke trying to play to win every game

You need to feed the pigeons to make them happy

I played Johnny again with the same results later, funny how the basics still work

I've been around this game a long, long time and seen a lot of shady stuff, but I have no idea what this guy is talking about until he gives us some more specific information. Just naming two guys means absolutely nothing unless he backs it up with an explanation of what took place to make him come on here and call them out.

I happen to know both guys mentioned on here and don't know the accuser. I have no idea who he is, so in the absence of any more information I'd have to discount what he has to say. To my knowledge neither player mentioned has any history of doing business, so I'd like to know if I'm wrong there.

One more thing, going to the gaming commission is a non starter. If it isn't related to casino gambling they could care less what happened between a couple of pool players. That is not really in their jurisdiction. They might be curious about what is going on at DCC and the Horseshoe but I seriously doubt that will have any effect on the casino or it's operations. It's like calling the gaming commission and telling them there was a fight on the premises. They would just respond to contact hotel security or the police.
Not only that, if Greg Sullivan, and no one working for the DCC was involved, then legally it has NOTHING to do with them, going to have to sell that gaming commission BS to someone real stupid!!!

This is a sad story to be sure,
but there is nothing but circumstantial evidence here

maybe the guy had the nuts and stalled to get the big bet

i really never heard of the guy that won,and george has been a solid guy before

if this happened to me,i would shake it off,or perhaps
pull off a "moosepatch" or some other not so well known con to get even

resorting to threats or violence is a quick trip to the big house

Even if this was a hustle when you put your $ in action you risked it.
You risked that Carl could win.
You risked it could be a set up.
You risked not getting paid.
You risked someone robbing everyone at gun point or otherwise.
You risked the police coming like Johnson city.
Etc.,etc., etc.

Much to do about nothing it seems

I played a lot of high/low poker when I was young....
...five shared cards and five in your hand with a draw and a buy...
...guy made a tight on aces....thought he had high locked up...
...I made a bike straight flush and swept the pot...
...told him....”It can happen in a square game.”

...guy didn’t speak to me for years...some people have trouble taking a loss

Violence is certainly not the way to deal with a loss no matter how it went down.

Cuebuddy >>>dying to know the Moosepatch hustle.
