i am amazed at the tlent of people to respond so quickly
to the questions we have

now we have forest gump right here in the scene

thank you

i was told today that some of the cues are not yet delivered
so i still hold out some reasonable hope that the cue will be reurned

I just received a cue from Dean and wondered if it would be a Tascarella when I opened the box, but unfortunately it wasn't. All I got was this old thing, thanks a bunch Dean! I hope you find your cue soon.

Happened to me

Hello Dean

Happy New Year to all

A few years ago Dean sent me a surprise

And what a surprise it was!

Dean mixed up the boxes and sent me a gorgeous Scruggs

I contacted him immediately and then I mailed it directly to the intended recipient

The box Dean meant to send me a really nice pool themed tie as a bonus with my box

Thanks for all the cues we've dealt with together

I think I ended up with 3 or 4 surprise cues, two of the Jerry R projects and several other items

Always a pleasure

And best of luck retrieving the Tasc

Thanks Dean

it is great to hear from you. I thought I might be getting
senile and making bonehead plays like this for the first time.

It is great to hear that I have always been careless, perhaps
there is reason to think I am not having old timers after all.

Something good is coming out of this adversity.

On a more serious side, it is good to be reminded of
the wonderful people I have met in this pool world.

One loss among a lifetime of blessings, how unthankful I
would have to be to dwell on the negative.

We have had some fun since all this began.

I guess you know Jerry Rauenzahn retired and moved to Florida.

I just remembered I received a huge shipment of cues from Schon
one day, perhaps 25 cues maybe less ,but there were 2 more than i payed for.

I counted them over time and again before calling Evan to ask what;s up.

He said"consider it a gift"

I have met some wonderful people on Az for sure, I am reminded of this time and again

You're 100% right when it comes to most pool rooms, but I am thinking anyone who buys from Dean, sight unseen for $500, is in a different category...

Hoping this all works out...…...

I hope it works out too but anything is possible and to pillory the recipient without all the facts is unfair.

Lou Figueroa
betting it will
show up one day
in Dean's closet

Did you request no rings or luck of the draw, saw another one that had rings.

I chose no rings. Dean mentioned there were both with and without rings. Hoping Mr. Potter decides to get behind the lathe again to do some fancier work, then there will be rings...

Correct, I don't have all the facts, and I also don't know what pillory means

(If the recipient is clueless, maybe one day he will show the cue to someone who isn't)

Wouldn't that be "pillorize"?

There was fellow from Texas, named Dean, who had a cue maker buddy named Jack
So he ordered not one of his famous Jackpot cues, but a big ole' stack

He offered the cues on AZ Billiards, so 10 folks could finally win
But soon discovered that he shipped out only nine and still had number ten

When he put two and two together, he soon realized his mistake
The cue boxes had got mixed up and it was a costly error to make

He'd shipped out 9 Jackpots cues and one high-dollar Tascarella
So, there were nine happy Jackpot customers and one damn lucky fella

It's New Year's Day and it needs to start off right
The Tasc needs to be returned to end Dean's plight

You'll get your Jackpot cue that you ordered and be just as glad
And Dean will be happy again and his wife won't be so mad

Then he'll continue to sell cues and refuse to post pics
And people will still buy them and be happy with their sticks

Aloha and Happy New Year to all.
