1,000,000 Post in the Main Forum!

I don't know if it will happen today or not but the posts in this thread prompted me to check out how many posts have been made in this forum and other forums. Those guys over in the Wanted/For Sale forum are pretty prolific with their posts, too. :D

Yeah...another 700 posts today might be pushing it. Unless this thread becomes a free-for-all race to 1,000,000...

I think it is going to reset to 0 just like Y2K...wow that seems so long ago! Some kids don't even know what Y2K is.

Some kids don't even know what Columbine is...or for that matter they may not even know what 9/11 is...

I want to thank again all of the members who are giving away product for this, this is why we are the best pool forum on the planet! Thanks Mike and Jerry for AZB! :)

I have a logistical question....how will you know who the 1,000,000th post is? Do mods/admins have access to that info? It certainly doesn't say it anywhere on the site as far as I can tell.

Look on the home part of the forum.."main forum" It will have "Threads" and "posts"...Whoever makes the post should screen shot it imo..You can do this by opening up the page/hitting print screen on your keyboard/open paint and hit "paste".

I've been in a few contests similar to this, and there are always wise guys deleting posts to skew the count.

Good idea on the screen shot...lame on the guys who delete posts...but what the heck :)

I spoke with Mike Howerton and he said he would be able to tell me the 1,000,000th post in the main forum, we are so close now, haha. :grin-square:

I like the moderator ID'ing the winner best- screen shots of the number of posts seems like more potential problems (not cheating, but lag issues).

Forum Members are not able to delete a post on this forum.
Only Admin & Moderators have that ability.
It will probably be some Non Club Member making their first or second post that gets it.
In fact, I will contribute to the prize but only if it is a Club Member that wins. :p

Just $35 for a year

Normally I like your posts, but this part just stinks! Some of us have been out of work for a long time, or are retired and can't afford the extra expenses. Some of us have contributed greatly to this forum by their posts, yet you seem to think that means nothing, only the money in their pocket does. Don't let the poor guy have a chance to win something! Save it for those that can afford to buy it but won't. WOW!

And, in case you haven't figured it out, there aren't that many club members, so make sure you only count the posts they have made towards that 1,000,000 posts. This is NOT the way to go about getting people to become club members!

I know there are not that many Club Members. That is exactly the problem.
How do you propose we increase that membership and help to financially support AZB.
Maybe we should make Club Membership a requirement to start one of those valuable NPR threads  What do they add to a pool forum?
Hey as I have stated before I am all for hardship, family & honorary memberships.
Whatever it takes to get more Yellow Banners and influence the new members to donate and join.
