Invitational Vs. Open
John, this is an appropriate time for this statement I am going to make. I do not adhere to some of your perspectives about different things but I have always admired people who are willing to stick up for their convictions.
FTR, I did not know nor do I currently know all of the details that surround Randy G and Grady. I am reading between the lines and it seems that Randy must have had a straight pool tournament where Grady was not invited and this has ticked Grady off. Randy swears that he had nothing to do with the selection process which sounds strange if you are the promoter of the event.
The bottom line is invitational tournaments should be INVITATIONAL and OPEN TOURNAMENTS should be OPEN, whether they be NATIONAL, INTERNATIONAL OR REGIONAL.

John Barton said:I respond to his comments, not to him. I find it to be quite similar to a cowardly act to snipe at someone while you "supposedly" have them on ignore.
I don't care if he can see what I write or not. If he writes tripe and inaccuracies and I feel like responding to that then I will.
It's for you that I correct him.
