This cue is a steal! I saw this cue in the shop when I picked up my blank. Too bad i saw it before all of the ivory inlays. Incredible price. it would be a good price without the ivory. Good chance to get a true full splice cue from a master.

G/L on a quick sale.
 
I also know this cue and viewed the cue in John's shop as he was building and completing. WT_? people!!! I'm 99.999% positive, you couldn't get Davis to build the cue for that price. If I didn't have my fair share of Davis cues (w/ more on the way), I'd be all over this...... The playability and ROCK SOLID construction of his cues are IMHO second to none!!! Best of luck w/ your sale. If I understand correctly, this is the first ivory inlayed cue he's delivered since he's been back building cues. Not only a piece of history, but the playability of his cues is awesome!!! Bump to you and good luck!!!

What are the shaft diameters? Is the butt weight adjustable downward? I'm assuming the butt is on the thick side much like the older McDermotts?

WOW!! I can not believe this cue is still for sale. This is well below what John charges to make a cue and no wait. Why is it still here?
 
I think it might be gone! John is a great guy to deal with,1 day responce he is overseas!

Very sharp looking John Davis cue. A year ago this cue would have been gone in minutes at this price. Its a shame to see such a beautiful cue from a great cue maker such as John Davis last this long in the forsale section. Sorry for my rant, just my thoughts thats all. Good Luck in your search for a new owner John. I wish I had the money to take this beauty off your hands. Have a good night sir.
