Nope. On a normal 9-foot table with 4.5" pockets.8 ball with 21 balls? Would this be played on a 12 foot pool table?
That's the entire point. If not, then I see a lot of clusters, and trouble ball (situations) to get out of.

Did it? Seemed like quite a few responses right after.
Also I think Justin assumed Mr. Bond was replying to him directly when he was just speaking in general terms.
I'm pretty sure Mr. Bond is well aware that he can't beat Justin Bergman at pool.
Nice to know that you understand what Mr. Bond meant & speak for him so freely. Also it did get quiet, in relation to Mr.Bond, well until you so magnanimously stepped forward to interpret what was meant & speak for him. Whatever Dude.
There is only 1 person posting in this thread that should be talking about harder games/tables and that is JB. Most of the rest of you cannot get out with ball in hand on the 5 ball.
I'd like to see at a minimum for the PROs 10' tables and really a 12' table with normal pokets (4.25 - 4.5) would be AWESOME!!!

What do you mean by if you think it's easy come to Chicago? If I come to Chicago you will play me rotation? If so, when?
So why are you then following it up with your table recommendations,,

I never knew that a 21 ball pool set existed. That is interesting.
The games broke, everything is soooo easy, cloth is too fast/slow, balls are the wrong color, 9 on the spot, break box, blah, blah, blah. Play pool and quit crying.
If its so easy how did we get slaughtered at MC

Well, actually, when 8 ball was introduced by Brunswick around 1925, it was played with reds and yellows and a black and there were no numbers. The 8-ball version that specifies balls in the side pockets is "one and fifteen" and my experience in playing it doesn't lead me to believe that it would be an improvement for the top players.Revert back to how 8 ball was originally played where the one ball and 9 ball had to be pocketed in a side pocket.

The problem with 8 ball at the top level as I see it is that there are too many run-outs. The breaker runs out or his opponent runs out from his first shot. 21-ball (ten reds, ten yellows and a black) might be interesting.
I had an idea for a version of 8 ball where each player is designated a pocket at random AFTER the break.
Each player must make all of their balls in their designated pocket.
And if one gets a corner and one gets a side, one of them has a problem.
