2 Girls, a Mustang, and the Road

What the heck is going on? Is she dumping or just dogging?? Rack 4 has just been horrendous vs Sheri Palma...not trying to be a critic but after as much as it seems I hear from how well she is playing maybe I expected more. Maybe it's just because it's the TV table?

She must be playing a lot of these matches that she's talking about on bar boxes because I'm seeing what you're seeing.

I'm not sure where she's making these scores but where I live, people that are playing that level aren't matching up for money, anyways.

I was thinking this same thing. She has literally given Sheri all 5 racks so far. I hope she is wanting to match up with her after the tourney and not playing her normal speed.

It also seems like Sheri has a chalk OCD. She moves chalk around the rails more than anyone I have ever seen.

Kim got a buy her second match. I admit I was very rattled playing Sheri, she plays the perfect pace to throw me off, I am a very fast player normally, and I do play better usually than I did against her. I would not gamble with anyone that plays that slow ever. At least I calmed down the last two racks and won seven to five to move forward to the next round. There is a of of money in this tournament, the most I have ever played for.

She did play very slow and was walking around the table a lot. The chalk thing got me after the 3rd time seeing her do it. Dont let us or anyone get in your head though. Just play your game.

I think you were every fortunate to beat Sheri...She plays better than you...
The last game, Sheri ran out to the 8 and hung it..You had a 2 ball out...The game before she ran to the 7 and scratched..You had a ball in hand 3 ball out...Were very fortunate in my opinion...
Not being critical just saying where I think your game is at..

For those who were following my previous thread about the adventures I have had after leaving Wisconsin and parting with Gene, here is a whole new chapter in my travels.

I have now teamed up with a talented player named Kim. I have known Kim now for 1 year. I remember the first time I met her we played in the OB Cues Tour at Rusty's in Arlington, TX in January of 2013 where she put me out of the main event.

I played Kim again 8 days ago in Houston, TX where she defeated me hill-hill and took 3rd place.

Kim and I have a lot in common, we both play pool just about every single day, and we both love to compete in a lot of the same exact tournaments. We both love action, she usually watches matches, she hasn't played any large sets before and does not gamble as often as I do, but she is plenty good enough to do so.

Splitting expenses on travel and motels is going to be a great benefit for both of us while our games progress. She has the same goals as I do.

We will be at Skinny Bob's for the next couple weeks preparing for the U.S. Bar Table Championships in Reno, NV on the 24th of February at the Grand Sierra Resort & Casino.

We will be practicing on Gold Crown III 9 footers with Simonis. There doesn't seem to be any diamond bar tables around this area to play on.

Kim who? Pierce

I went for 35, the entry was $50 each, 18 players, a few girls went higher than I did including Kim, there is $1500.00 added they are paying top three in the Calcutta and the top twelve in the tournament. Nothing is raked.

way to grind

Great Job. Don't Be Worried About The Payout And TaKe All Those Gift Games. They Still Count. Keep On Winning.

Jay had your match on his laptop at Slate, wtg!

Thanks, there are four left on the winners side, and four on the one loss side, I made it into the top four on the winners so don't play again until tomorrow.

I just signed up for their weekly open tonight so still grinding it out.;)

Nice job Rhea! Winning the first two matches is a great start!

Kim just snapped off the On the snap pot at Skinny Bobs, and I won my first match four to one.
