WOW....$250,000.00 Prize Fund...

Personally, I would like to see just a little more top heavy. But this is good for the players as it is a very tough field.

Placing in the money from 65th-96th place should cover most of the expenses for the players, if they spend wisely.

Good luck to all the players.

I didn't see my name but Predator sent it in last week can you double check on that? I'll call and email tomorrow to follow up thank you

Race to 11, Double elimination.
Finals is one race to 13

1st. 40,000
2nd 20,000
3rd 10,000
4th 8,000
5-6th 6,500 ea.
7-8th 5,000 ea.
9-12th 4,000 ea.
13-16th 3,500 ea.
17-24th 3,000 ea.
25-32th 2,500 ea.
33-48th 1,750 ea.
49-64th 1,250 ea.
65-96th 1,000 ea.

$1000.00 most racks run

The prize fund seems very reasonable. It's a nice incentive for the lesser known players. At least they can recoup 2/3 of their investment.

I hope the economy is not working against Barry- I was pretty heavy in the stock market and was doing fine til 3/4 weeks ago. SInce then down 40% on most everything even my 'safe stocks' so im thinking about economizing and skipping it. I havent missed one since they moved to the CC but ive never been this old either.

I agree with this pay out schedual, right now a top heavy tournment might not fill up as fast, If I was Earl, Ralf or Archer I wouldnt like this at all but it makes perfect sence-it will draw ALOT more players and thats what pool/US Open needs now more than ever, this was well tought out. Good job!!

Yeah, this payout structure is good for pool right at this moment.

$40,000.00 for 1st place and $20,000.00 for 2nd place ain't bad either. ;)

You're not gonna let a lil thing like Cash Flow keep You from the Greatest Show on Earth...... are You?

I don't think Earl, Johnny or Ralf are that worried 'bout that..... they all get in for free anyway.

It might be a blessing that poolplayers were already broke. They do not have money in the stockmarket!

No doubt- i was talking spectators. Without a good Gate, bad things can happen. I dont think it willl have a huge negative effect but im guessing 10% wont go bec of it and i think im one of them.
