It plays as good as it looks. Classic design, Elephant Ear wrap. Enjoy the cue.

The cue is beyond words. I am curious as I have been away from Pool for quite a while. Why is it considered a "Hoppe"? As a cue by itself it looks like a great player and workmanship is fantastic, as always.

It's a "Rambow" style Tascarella, if you ask Pete. That term comes from the butt style instead of the standard delrin cap. The ivory disk and short cap was started by Herman Rambow, hence the name "Rambow style". Hoppe is commonly used because it was also the butt end style used on the Brunswick Willie Hoppe cues.

This cue is a great hitter and way prettier in person that the pics show. I'm glad it's in a great home. Enjoy that monster.

I'm diggin' it. I have an order coming up by the end of this year with the Pete's. This really has me thinkin'...

Hi Tom, I should have said style, Hoppe style Ivory ring at the butt, Bushka style inlay placements. ETC would be the fancy trim ring with the dots, lol. Thank you.

I absolutely LOVE it! Are those 3/4" non-ivory ferrules? I bet it just plays lights out. I have 3 of Pete's cues, and have 2 on-order. Tascarella cues are among the very best in the world, and the Petes are just a pleasure to talk to. Your cue is a perfect example of current Tascarella. Congratulations!
