personally, I prefer Efren

Depends what type of entertainment you are looking for I guess. Scooter is a good talker and riles up the room and the crowd. Efren, another huge gambler who some people find somewhat entertaining is the complete opposite being generally quiet, reserved, and one of the most skilled pool players on the planet.

Who is more entertaining in action, Scooter or Efren? Who do the fans want to watch play for cash at the end of the day?

I don't mind watching 2 guys haggle a little when trying to match up. And Scooter is entertaining, but at times he can be very annoying. I saw a young guy, {and they are becoming more common} try to get Stevie Moore to gamble at one pocket, and in my opinion in a very disrespectful way. Stevie explained several times that he just wanted to hit some balls, and the kid kept after him, wanting a big spot and to "bet something" more than $20. After about 20 minutes of listening to this, it was very annoying. Some people might have found it entertaining, but there is a difference. Some of the kids, need to learn a little respect. There is a right and wrong way to make a game.

I agree wholeheartedly. There were a few I saw being nothing short of imbeciles. It reminded me of puffed up chest high school boys being loud for no other reason than for other ppl to hear them.

I think Richie Richeson should win the award, he is fun to watch match up and play. He will stay in action and with crazy games and outrun the nuts.

I have put a lot of people in action and have played myself getting a bunch of weight, I would never want to win the award. This award is meant for top players, part of the award is entry into the future tournaments. For someone like me or Jason that is just a waste of time, we have no chance in the tournaments and are basically a bye for almost all of the players there.

Can't believe Danny Smith has not been mentioned. That kid was playing sets every night.
Ritchie and Scooter did more woofing in the hallways than they did playing.

That didn't prevent Dippy from winning it last year.

I don't know how many times I've heard how bad the casino is for action.....you all must be only taking the stream table into consideration. Each year at the casino I've seen top players in action. Players mentioned....Frost, in action, SVB not as much this year, but still, in action, Dennis, in action, Alex, in action. I couldn't care less about the decent playing barkers; I want to see TOP quality play....it's still going on, it's just that it isn't always in the "action room" or on the stream table, but it is still happening!

I voted for Kirkas because he seemed to generate the most action while he was there. But I really enjoy watching Gentile play. He's a gambler's gambler! No nonsense, gets up there and plays, and never says boo win or lose. And he can play a little too. Reminds me of Billy in his younger days. Two pretty sharp cats!
