“Lots of careless errors?” I guess you didn’t see Earl at his peak (which lasted 20+ years). I did! He wasn’t making too many mistakes when he was putting sixes and sevens on people. He looked like he could run racks forever! Once he got in line, he stayed in line,And made lots of careless errors too! Look at Shaw at the end of the Morra match! I like the Chess Clock idea for Pool. Most players have good tempo and only take time on difficult shots or difficult decisions. Watch Melling - he has a good tempo, but takes his time when needed. Frankly whatever "slow" play is going on in this tournament hasn't bothered me. If slow play is the reason people won't watch pool, then whey didn't we get NFL like audiences when the Shot Clock was first implemented?
I thought it was me.Is anyone else hearing really heavy breathing during the commentary on Table 1?
Yes, he played crazy strong.if vietnamese guy plays like yesterday shane's gonna have to play his best. the guy shut out sczewczyk 11-1 in quite an exhibition on the youtube table
Tyler says has to quit due to an eye problem with Albin on the hill 10-5.
Not saying it isn't true, wouldn't know, but I believe he was making excuses about bad cloth at the Derby and now his eyes before what was likely to be the last game of the match. His agent should have a talk with him, true or not, that really isn't a good look.Eye problem - Couldn't see himself winning from there? Lol
No way. He won the Valley Forge event beating Shane in the finals. He won the DCC Banks event beating Shane in the finals. While those are not WC caliber events, 1st in those is better than 16th in WC. IMOWas the win over Shaw considered the biggest win of John Morra's career?
Reminds me of when Big Ko pattern racked 5 racks in a row in the WC final before Shane finally said something to the ref and the ref made Ko random rack.Doang definitely soft breaking and hasn’t got called on it.
