The US Open was extremely well attended all six days. That wasn't the case at the USopen. I was in attendance and the seats were assigned. At least not what im speaking about. Several empty seats throughout semis and finals.

Didn't get out and lost the safety battle. Bet the rack on a long bank of the eight but wasn't up to it, and Fedor took the 10-6 lead.Yes, tough layout, but a chance is a chance.

LOL, possibly the lucky roll of a lifetime if Szewczyk goes on to win this match. Back from the dead!10-8, with a fluke involved that would've passed even with call pocket rules
I didn't say otherwise Stu. However IMHO opinion you're overstating the first few days. There was zero problem finding a handful of empty seats around any table, unless it was a marquee match or a threat of a name being knocked outThe US Open was extremely well attended all six days.
But you're a super fan!Too far away!
It's year one for this event in its new location, hopefully interest in the sport will grow in Saudi Arabia. Yes, the empty seats are a bit distressing, but pool's business model can hold up with or without live attendance. Still, whether it is pool or any other sport, it is hard to view an event as important if nobody attends.
It seems to be on the site but without a link or at least not one I could find. Google is your friend.Home

The WPA redid their website. I was trying to find the prior world champions (in all disciplines) and could no longer find the link. Does anyone see it somewhere on the new site?
