Ghost fargo first results! 9BallKY, what is your rating and robustness currently?

I'll keep this updated when a member sends aggregate results. We could do it by session, which could be any time period the member choses for himself. Could also aggregate each member if they submit multiple sessions. No problem either way.

Good shooting all! I added the "what fargo is the 9 ball ghost" to the bottom of the first post, and I'll keep it updated there. Only give me data for that table if you made a decision before the set started to include it. Can't cherry pick what goes there:) We need the good along with the bad.

The other tables, as before, will be best set score only.

This shouldn't be added to the aggregate table, as the numbers aren't exact, but just throwing it here for a bit more data points off the charts.

Been playing 9-ball ghost scotch doubles for a while with a friend of equal skill. We've done lots of short races of varying lengths, but the overall run has been around 50-60 (not exact, might be off by a few numbers in either direction). 9ft Diamond, 4.5 inch pockets.

I don't know my fargo, since I don't play in any tournaments that report to fargo (Finland is like this, almost no smaller tournaments are reported). But I've suspected by current fargo to be between 600 and 650. These aggregate results would agree with this assumption, if the ghost's fargo on a 9ft diamond with 4.5 inch pockets is around 660 on average, our (mine and my friend's) average fargo would be 630ish.

Glad to have another Finn around

7-3 win.

I recorded a couple of sets this morning. This month isn’t starting off well, lol. I haven’t been playing much and my numbers so far are really bad. It’ll be interesting to see how everything adds up at the end of the month.

As an aside, I trimmed this set down to just over 8 minutes and was wondering…does this make the set easier to watch, for those who do watch?

Another 5 sets this week. Again lost 3-2 in sets and this time lost in games 24-27

Edit: Fargo is now 668 with 173 robustness

I got off to a bad start this month also. Been playing a bit more but my practice partner has been coming over so I haven’t been playing the ghost. Hoping to get back to even by the end of the month but it might depend on how many sets I play against the ghost if any.

I played a heartbreaker of a set this morning. I was up 6-0, and somehow lost 6-7 from there. 🤦‍♂️ February has not been good to me. 😂 I hope these numbers aren’t as bad as I think they’re going to be when I add everything up.

Here’s my February numbers:

107-139

Despite the gap, it’s actually closer than I thought it was going to be. I didn’t play for the first couple of weeks of the month, and lost a couple of sets 0-7 right out of the gate. I got off to a really bad start and it didn’t get any better.

I started doing something new this week: instead of playing sets, I just play for roughly an hour and record it on my phone. Then I count the games, save any packages over 3 or particularly interesting racks, and delete the vid for space as I’m almost out. I recorded 4 sessions this week and came out 35-29. Biggest pack was 5, had a couple fours, bunch of 3s. My win % is going up I think because I’m really focusing on the rack and break. Not pattern racking but just putting a lot of effort into freezing the balls. Fargo is 668 with 173 robustness

I didn’t play any ghost sets in the last 2 weeks. I played all mine early in the month when I simply stunk it up. The last couple weeks the guy I practice with has been coming over more so I’m starting to play more normal again. Ran 2 3 packs and a 4 pack against him in the last week or so. Maybe my March numbers will be better but idk, I got a lot of fishing that needs to be done.

Ghost practice payed off today. Played tournament this weekend. Today on quarterfinals I played vs Pro Casper Matikainen and was 4-7 down, race to 9. We had matchroom break rules and he then scratced breaks and i cleared tables and run out my breaks except one where i pushed and played safe. He kicked ball in and ran out table. I then ran out Hill Hill rack. Came 3rd in The end. Lost to 11 year old kid... From our club.

Well played! But this kid is amazing, at 11 he's already beating top players!
