I would say go to 3 up and coming good makers who don't have long wait lists, Say Gilbert, Skip, ect. ect. and ask them to make something nice for $1,000, the cues would come out great knowing it was to raise money and 3 seperate auctions will raise much more then one higher end cue. But you may have already thought this threw.
