I HAD 4 CUES STOLEN OUT OF MY CAR SATERDAY NIGHT. 12 miles east of Tacoma, Wa. #1 R-6 Schon with maple dash rings and a 31 and 3/4 " shaft . The green and white wrap is worn and a dark green line about 3 " long in wrap. Points have a very pretty blue veneer. Butt plate has some small dents. I just aquired this cue about a month ago and have no pictures. #2 is a custom Bocote into maple full splice, with 2 hoppy rings about 3" apart surrounded by black and brass rings. Picture in my cue gallery in my signature. # 3 & 4 are almost identical custom full splice rosewood into maple, with 4 veneers. Both have hoppy rings . One has a normal black joint , the other has a 1/2 black joint . One has a special white break tip, the other has a layerd tip. All this was in a black 4x8 soft case. This is the only time I have ever left them in the car over night. All cues were assembled by me except the Schon. Thanks Jim

stolen cues

I'm so sorry to hear that Jim! I hope you get the cues back soon. Definitely get this info to the nearest pawn shops and pool rooms! The thieves have to start looking to unload them somewhere. Try and get pics of your cues posted too if you have them!

This sucks. I'm sorry to hear about your situation. I'll tell you what, if the perpetrator runs away and joins the Army and comes to Afghanistan I'll let you know! There are a few other websites that has a stolen cues page. I know classiccues.com has one. Post up and hand out flyers to the pool rooms and pawn shops.

Good Luck, John

Thanks Everyone . It will be a mirical to ever see them again . I'll hit some pawn shops tommarro. Jim

Stolen cues

Did your cue look like this one Jim? Except with blue veneers. That 31" shaft has got to be easy to pick out of a line up too!

I borrowed these pics from proficient. I'm sure Scot wouldn't mind for a good cause.

Stolen Cues

file A Police report and keep it with you so if you see them and call the cops you can get them back....

YES very much like that, only not nearly as good of conitition . I was going to send it to Ryon , as I wanted it to be perfect. I bought the cue about 8 yrs ago, and sold it to a freind, in Shelton, I traded back for it about a month ago. What a nice shooter, Damm I miss that cue. I have 2 other Schons , but I liked that one. The full splice cues were very nice shooter also. None of the full splice cues had any wraps. Tried to do a police report today, but will get it done tommarro, Cops to busy with speed traps, instead of fighting crime. Thanks Rex

Dude! That is horrible. I remember when they broke into my car, I made one mistake in 10 years and it costed me.

I know how that feels. We will keep an eye out on ebay and other sites for ya. Love the JP's you make. Don't worry about these lowlives...if they really want it, they will take it.

Karma is a biatch~ Let God deal with them~

Duce.

Get the word out

Sorry to hear about this.
Hopefully they will turn up in a pawn shop or someone recognizes them somewhere.
Definitely get the word out to as many people as you can.
If they go up for sale on the INTERNET, or Ebay, an AZ member will notice them.

Sorry for the bad luck buddy.. But at least now you know to never ever leave your cues in the car no matter what..

My buddy had his stolen from the car right in front of his house. I'm in a small town and never once did I see them in any pawn shops within 60 miles..

Couple years later I saw one of the 3 cues stolen about 200 miles down the road. But by then I personally had no proof to take the cue back on his part. It was some older lady so I know she didn't take it.

Was a 6 point cocobolo Hurricane cue and I have never seen another like it from James Spach. So I know it was his cue.

He quit playing pool shortly after that and never got back into it. It was the first cue he ever purchased and he loved it. Paid $500 for it new with two shafts from a dealer that came through for a big tournament.

Best of luck on finding them. Hope it works out.

Thanks,
Josh Hillard

I hope you recover them, a police report is your next step if you havent already done so. Sorry about your misfortune.

Hey Jim, you and Nate have the south end covered, send me some pics to my pm, and I will check around at the pawn shops and pool hall's in Seattle and Kenmore areas.Rod.

JUST A IDEA but a year or so ago a buddy of mine had his southwest stolen here by me! i ran an add in the local paper stating that POOL CUES PURCHASED CASH PAID ANY CONDITION OR AGE!

guess what 2 days later i ended up getting his cue back and the guys was prosecuted for theft!!!!! lol!!!!!

sounds dumb but might be worth the couple bucks for a few day add!!! worked for my buddy and me!!!!!!

This is sad, the worst is if this is near your stomping grounds, this is most likely someone who knows you or your business.
Good Luck, If see I see them down here, I'll recover them.
Dom
