Ah Ross, it's quite evident you didn't read the chain of events. I was responding to BigJohn, not you.

Dude - I let it go because you were right - people are paying..... but I do have the right to respond to someone that was referring to what I said.

I don't want your "beauty", I have my own.... thanks.

I think the problem with this raffle (if there is a problem) is that a raffle in general reflects the price of the item being raffled.

For example if you had a 1000.00 car you sell 1000 1.00 tickets

The problem here is that the cue seems over valued and I think you just found , myself included, 42 people willing to gamble on winning this cue instead of the raffle amount truly representing the value of the cue.

Even if you subtract your cost and fees it seems high and I doubt you could have sold it out right for that price.
I just hope future raffle don't start following the trend you started here.

Now if I get this for 75.00 bucks I'm going to be one happy SOB!!

Good luck every one!!

I wasn't pointing fingers at anyone, but I am going to respond as it appears (based upon your caluculations) you are referring to me.

Good luck to you in this raffle. Just as you can voice your opinion, I can voice mine as well in the fact that this cue is overpriced and the seller is using a bandwagon methodology to make a few extra bucks. Sure - this is a desireable cue, but there is another SW that is going for $2650 with LOA. Do you mean this cue is worth $500 more because of an ebony forearm?

I do agree that they will appreciate in time, but I just looked at the list of people involved in this raffle and it's not chocked full of the names that you make out to be "full of knowledgeable people". It's full of people willing to toss up $75 in hopes to get a $2500 cues. That's it.

ps. There was no "classless attack" after the fact. It's quite evident you didn't read the chain of events.
Hey, buddy......are you saying I am not knowledgeable??? :D

"it's not chocked full"? I wonder if most knowledgable people would have said "chalked full", considering a chock is a block or wedge of wood

Yes. As "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" says, 42 is the answer to the question of the universe.

Unless it is really 15.

Either way . . . . . :D

Well I think.....

If you subtract the first non prime number from the answer to the riddle of the universe, then you have the winning number and that means.......

I WIN!!!!!!!

Jaden

My guess is number 10 to be the winner.. I just like the number and it would of been the one I picked if I entered. :D
