I just saw him play a few matches here a week or so ago against the slowest player alive and he maintained an above average pace the entire two days. Along with winning a 10 ahead set in about 45 min a couple days before.

just watched part of this match. It reminded me of the other guy he played in St. Louis 9 ball and one hole. I love to watch but this match took a little too long.
 
I had a doosey of a post here.......but in the interest of pursuing a hopeful and righteous outlook on things I will just say that Edwin is a super nice guy who is a credit to the sport. As for his opponent I believe that karma does work in one way or another.

Just ignore the haters , if they have never been down that path how could they understand ? Back in my "enhanced" days I made Eric's antics look minor,trust me I have been there (see avatar) .Not a day goes by that I don't stop and thank God that I found a new way to live ,I was one who could not quit on my own.....no way ,no how, I tried over & over.

Well, TL, I admire your loyalty but not your reasoning.

When a man plays on a streaming table...he just entered the public domain.
And what ever he does, good or bad, WILL be remarked on.

You know what I'd really like to see....get Eric to watch the video....

The pace was set from the beginning when he got up off the opening break shot at the last second to look at the rack again.

Plus, was he even at the table on time? Edwin was sitting there alone for several minutes.

Even if there was some back story between these two that would have somehow explained this, pulling this on the stream table was poor judgement.

Was there any explanation from tournament officials how this guy could have been put on the clock at the outset, and only one "no penalty" warning was issued in over 3 hours?

WOW! I watched the first rack and was cracking up laughing the whole time. That was the best moving I've ever seen from the chair. Hilarious! I highly recommend watching, at least some of this. On to rack two...

Btw, I mean this from a sharking perspective, not a drug abuse perspective, if thats why he was like this.

I must have the patience of a saint because i watched it when it streamed live and i just watched the whole match again...lol
 
I blame this on the promoter and the TD. Should have showed them the door. Johnnyt
