The first one, I was at VF and it took me 5 hours to talk Mike into making his own cues again, with a new logo. I put the first order in and he put #1 on it for me.

the next one was supossed to be a corroboration cue with Tony and Mike for me. It ended up just being a Mike cue, but he did get a lot of feedback from Tony on it. We worked out the basic design and then Mike took it from there. It is the fanciest, most inlayed cue Mike ever did. And he reminded me over and over what a pain in the ass it was to make.

they are both amazing cues.. and i wish i bought one from Mike when i had the chance.. he quoted me an amazing price for a four pointer with ivory joint and veneers and some minor inlays.. but unfortunatly didnt have the cash to commit.. :(

so anyways.. is the cue on the bottom is the old logo? or are they both new?

Alright Mr. Steve!

You're right. But only half right. You left some out.
Thanks for sharing.
Your buddy,
Nick :)

You know he knows more about your cues than you do.

I know those are my 2 favs that Mike made. I know the 8 pointer just has to play sweet. Both are very tasteful and elegant. I would trade those for any other MC's out there. Take care Steve.

David, I should have known that was coming...lol. Thanks

cues

In my opinion Mike made the best hitting cues and his workmanship will live on forever. Steve you should thank Tim Scruggs his mentor.

Beee uuuu teee fulllll.

Stunning cues made by a dear friend of yours.

Thanks for sharing.

Chris,
To my knowledge, Mike had 3 different logos. The first was the MAK logo. Some may think initials. Yes, but not his. It was an anagram of his three children's first name. Mark, Adam and Kim. Lucky got him to start the MC logo as some overseas when they heard MAK, they thought of a BigMac. Mike actually liked the MAK logo better. He came out with the block MC second. Then the last was the big M and the little c logo. This is my favorite. Anyway, that is what I know of the logo.

And, I don't know who has it, but if someone on here has the MC 6, I can tell you a story as to how that cue came to be.

Subdude has no collection.
The last Cues went to Steve and 2 to Eric and one to me. There is only one last Cue? There were four. JPT has one Cue now not 2.
But we all know subdude lives in a sudo reality. In his mind that is his collection of pictures not Cues.
When it come to Mike's Cues you can spout all you want to but respecting your words especially your make believe collection will not happen.
You know ltttle and speak much. And leave out what suits you. My Cues are not anyone's collection but mine. Eric's Cues are not anyone's collection but his. You did get Steve's Cues right> I sold Brian that Cue. It isn't my collection.
The sight is very Flawed. It should be fixed. It should show anything but pretend collections.
I like the sight. The information is wrong.

I thought this guy died, am I mixing him up? I thought ppl had to get his final cues finished by other makers.

Nick,
What in the hell are you talking about? I have never said I had a collection. Never said I wanted one either. I wouldn't mind owning 4 cues, but that is it. You ramblings make no sense. I said nothing about you, Eric, a cue in your possession or anything that requires your input. Somebody asked a question and I answered it. Plain and simple. Prove me wrong. Show me the 4th logo. And what is incorrect on the site? Is it the cue that Eric has that was finished by someone else? If you look at the MC 6, the cue was never supposed to have the inlays at the tops of the points. I could enlighten the owner as to why they are there. That is all I was saying.

I have stayed away from your posts and said nothing in any thread or responded to any responses that you had made. I am done with giving a damn about you. You talk a good game, but at the end of the day, you are just a liar, back stabber and just an all around POS. I don't care what cues you have. I don't care what cues Eric has. You both collect. Great for you. All I know is my conscience is clear. I have never lied to anyone about any cue I have owned or sold. You on the other hand, lie to get what you want. If you see nothing wrong with that, then I guess it is ok. The things I have stated about the number of logos Mike used is my opinion. The things I stated about changing from the MAK logo to the MC logo is fact. Mike told me himself. Just like he told me he thought you were an assh@le. He actually liked the MAK logo better because of the affiliation with his children. And as far as different logos, I am interested to see the 4th logo. I know I have never seen a 4th. But with as much up his and Tim's ass as you were, I wouldn't be surprised if there is something that I didn't see or know about his logo. Please don't bother me anymore with your bs and I won't talk about your stupidity anymore.

PS-Steve,
You still have the 2 best IMHO.

Two great Cochran masterpieces Steve. I asked mike about a six pointer at the time he was working in yours. He said he was building the first Cochran six pointer for a guy named steve who owned all the jiffy lubes. It sure turned out great,my congradulations to you. Mike was contacted to start mine just before his untimely passing, he said he would get on mine right away. We all know the rest. RIP Mike.
p.s. Steve, #33 is still one of my all time favorite Cochran cues.,Bob
