First of all, your initial post WAS argumentative and accusatory, as another poster said. I am on a diet, and I WAS going to eat a salad tonight, but in your honor, I am gonna eat as much meat as possible.
Also, in your honor I am going to buy a t-shirt form maddox.xmission.com that says "For every animal a vegetarian doesn't eat, I'll eat three!"
ALL YOU HAD TO DO was come on here, and respectfully ask if anyone knew of any cuemakers that use non-animal materials, or who usd all synthetic materials.
But NO, you had to use terminology like "non-murdered animals". Yes, I am insulted. Very much so. People like you pass judgement on people who eat meat and/or kill animals for tool/art use. Guess what? You ain't so innocent yourself.
The grain you most probably eat? Guess how many small field rodents were "murdered" during the harvesting? Oh, and I'll bet you'll say that by choosing those grains to eat, you're doing the "least possible harm".
Guess what? You're not. The "least possible harm" you could do would be to grow your own food, and hand harvest it. But that's too much trouble. You are making a conscious effort to do more harm than you are capable of doing. In effect, you are doing the same thing as a poacher. But because you make a relatively small effort, you feel entitled to pass judgement on us.
Vegetarians make a personal choice, which would be fine if so many of them weren't militant, and tried to push it in our faces. Vegetarians COULD exist harmoniously with nature if they wanted to drastically change their lives. But again, your sanctimonious attitudes only extend so far as is "convenient" for you.
If you want to debate this, I'll be happy to eat your lunch and show you that your life is not as eco-friendly as you thought.
