just throwing this out there... but ummmm


when all the sticky threads fill my entire screen.. and the actual threads are relegated to the last 3 or 4 spots on EVERY PAGE..

perhaps just possibly there might maybe be too many STICKY THREADS

I understand 1 or 2 or 3 but a whole screen full every page ..

c'mon lets get real

1 or 2 more sticky's and I won't even be able to see any of the actual threads..

someone in charge needs to do some housekeeping..

please...

as well as on each page of the forums I read... just in case I missed it??? trust me I am aware of the keychain contest.. and I STILL don't care

I do have to agree that the number of sticky posts is starting to get a little high.

What's strange is that the Stickys follow you from page to page - never seen that before.....
 
I think its time for some cleaning of stickys and some forums that are not in use,might free up some bandwith. :thumbup:

Since you brought it up, I just took a look. I had been ignoring them until now. And I think that's one of the problems with them. If there are too many, no one pays attention to any of them. I agree, they take up a lot of the page.
 
I always click NEW posts when I enter the site and the sticky's don't show unless someone has responded to them. No sticky's.

I use the old skin and the stickies are on the top of every page. If we need all of them it does seem that at the top of page one would be enough.

The other option is to get a larger screen or make your present one 1440 X 900 or larger. At that res the stickies are way less than a 1/4 page on my 17" laptop.

MAYBE.... you can change your settings to allow more posts to appear on a page. Just guessin.


Maximum posts on a page: 40 That leaves plenty of room for Stickies.
