ABR Tonight - Can You Imagine?

MR. Bond. I love your show so far. I believe if the show points out and calls out the dirty little secrets in pro pool here in the states it will in the end do pro pool a big justice. I hope you don't let industry leaders buy you out which happens a lot with shows that tell it like it is. I think most of the funding should come from the audience. Keep it up with the great show. To be Relavent and Listened To...

I think it's important to be honest as to who is doing a good job that is benefiting
the sport. Also what groups or individuals are just maintaining the status quo,
or even worse just letting Pool slip down the drain. (BCA, ABP, come to mind)

I agree with this, the more dirty little secrets are allowed to hide under the rug, where they've been swept, the more these kind of things will continue to happen.

I liked the show over all, and would like to know what the music for the first two breaks was?

Sorry, but I have to say toward the end when Jerry T. praised the BCA I turned the show off, right there!

I pulled the switch then too. Johnnyt

One of his players is a friend of mine I met at a tournament a few years ago. I asked him in November if he had any idea who Mark was before he met him...he said no. The I asked him if he had any idea how big of a opportunity this was for him.....he said, "I do now!"

There is so much potential for this program. I hope that the billiards industry will see that this can be the future and support it. I wish I could turn back the clock 20 years and try out for the team!

I always have league on Thursday nights so I can never listen. Is this episode archived so I can listen now?

Update: Nevermind, found it.

On a more serious note. What I've found illuminating on ABR is not only the insights and opinions, but - the forecasts and directives provided by industry leaders. Many of us want to see the future of pool. Some are jockeying for position. ABR is no crystal ball, but it helps us see.

I am learning a lot from the other contributors on the show. Although I may not agree with everything I still respect their opinions and gives me a lot to think about.

The intro and first two breaks featured music from a group of Chicago locals that used to call themselves Starrunner. They have since disbanded and reformed into other groups, but we're all still very much friends.

That's our (ABR) Pete on keys:cool:

If you'd like a copy of the CD let me know.

You changed the url of the rss feed on me. Been waiting for it to come in on my podcast app and finally went to site to see what was up.

You are correct sir, when we created the archive, the url was changed. It mixed up our iTunes account as well. But don't fret, we're gonna have it fixed pretty quick.

Thanks for listening!
