I've just received some bad news :(

Scott Anderson (Adanac67) was killed in a car accident late Wednesday night.

He was really a wonderful light hearted fellow and truly loved the game of pool!

Gods speed Scotty!

This is very sad news. I enjoyed all of his posts. I will keep his family in my thoughts and prayers. He will definitely be missed.

BUMMER!!! What a shame. I didn't know him but I want to read all his posts now.

This one hits me hard! We played pool together a few times, just awhile ago, coming in 1 and 2 at a tournament. Wow. Is there anywhere or anything we can do to pay respect to his family? Rest in peace, Scott. :(

Sorry to hear your news. A player in our league left us on tue due to a severe heart attack as he was getting ready to shoot his last ball.

Sad to hear that. I had some previous PM's with him about a year ago. I wish his family and friends well.

A sad reminder that none of us knows what the future holds. Hemicuda said it well: "May God be with his family".

Going through some of his old threads, I found this. I didn't even know pics had been posted of our time together. I will cherish these pics of Scott and me together. Thanks to Lisa for taking them and thanks to Ken for posting. Here's one.

Condolences to his family and friends. You should post your announcement in the Wanted/For Sale section as many there don't read the Main Forum.

Edited to add: I posted a link in WTB/FS section.

I will pray for comfort and peace for his family and friends. He sounds as if he was a heck of a guy!

I just got in from work, and saw this post. I am truly heartbroken. Scott and I exchanged PM's often, as he was supposed to get together with me and a few others for a tournament in Oak Harbor, in fact as soon as just last week...but we were just never able to get the timing right.

Scott was just THE most fun to play pool with...and a pretty darn sporty shooter. He was as good as they get, in my book. This is terribly sad news indeed.

Ken , I am sure he will be missed in your league nights up there as well. Please send my condolences to his family, and let us know if there is anything that we can do.

Lisa
