Since Trigger has come back from Vegas (when she and Jay tied the knot), she has been drinking a lot more. Does this call for an intervention or do we need to just let her be?

I hope I'm not the only one to see this.

Remember Trigger, in order to get help, you have to want it. :D
 
When you said changed I thought that she had really CHANGED....I thought her marriage to Jay might have changed her preferences...;).:eek:..lol.....jk, Jay........but now that I know she hasn't really CHANGED then she is ok....tis the season to be jolly man!! Great pool and hot weather make cool drinks more enjoyable....lol

Ironically, I watched three episodes of the A&E Series "Intervention" just last night. I wondered to myself as I snuck the liquor bottles from Jay how he would feel if he knew he drove me to drink so much!

A good friend of mine from when I was a teenager was featured on there. Couldn't believe my eyes. Thankfully he's clean and sober now but holy crap was that eye opening.

As many of you know I have been in recovery for quite some time and have
NO anonymity when it comes to people knowing that. I'm actually glad to be
free from active addiction for 20+ years in NA.Some people have come to me
in the past and even on this forum about there addiction problems and I am
more than glad to help in any way I can.However I gave up on 12 stepping
women that sexy a long time ago ....sorry Trigger I can recomend a few good
women that I know.....
Just thought I would joke a little with this thread as I know it's not serious.
I have friends that drink and some even do other activities with no bad side
effects. I feel maybe they never had the genetic code to be an addict or are
just "in control" .Intervention never worked for the type addict I was .Rock
hard,ass busting,bottom is what made me wake up and smell the coffee.Some
do , some don't, and some like me over do....almost everything.....so I watch
what I do. Pool is one of the best addictions ...EVER !!

akaTrigger (aka Melinda) is far and away my favorite female member of AZB. And I also am a card-carrying member of Jay Helfert's fan club. But.............

Does anybody remember when someone here morphed the photo of Jay and Melinda's faces together? I have no idea what thread to even look for it at, but, needless to say, it's inprinted forever onto my medulla-oblongata! :eek: Yikes with a capital YIKE!!

So, since we're offering intervention to two of AZB finest and most beloved newlyweds.....uh....um....a......(yelled out quickly just to get it over with)....."Jay should get his tubes tied so that no baby pops out around the time of the 2011 Derby City Clasic!! :D

Not to worry Terry, I just spoke to Jay and he told me that both have not been sober enough to complete the marriage. (if you know what I mean) I think an annulment in in order.
