Got this cue a little while ago.
Just wanted to share a couple pics.

All original Herman Rambow.
Cue is incredibly straight for it's age.

Beautiful, and still hits pretty good.

Thanks for looking.

Chris

Great looking cue Chris...

I love imagining what stories a cue could tell when they are this old.

Thanks for sharing,
Chris

How can you tell it from a stock Hoppe Professional with no sticker? I have a few Rambow's, but none this close to a stock Brunswick.

Chris did you buy it from the original owner? If not who identified it as a Rambow, I don't doubt what the cue is I am just trying learn what identifying marks are used to identify it, I am always trying to learn.

Thanks

I was taught by Paul Rubino on what to look for in a Rambow.
(he owns all of Rambow's tools, machines and notes)
There are a handful of things these have that brunswicks don't.
This cue has all of them.
Plus, it didn't hurt that this cue came from a collection that had 3 other rambows.

Chris<~~~~~100% sure

Thats very cool but what are the secrets!!

Thanks for the response, and that is a nice cue.

Best way to tell

Own one. ONE WITH A SIGNATURE. Mice it every where. Check the pin and butt cap. The pin and joint is usually how I tell right quick. That and all sizes have to be right everywhere.
Nick :)
