I see some of the cue makers with ungodly waiting lists. people been on them for years. any that dont have a long wait to get your cue?

looking to get another custom made. something like.

purpleheart not so sneaky
white joint and butt maybe some black ringwork
two shafts, one pred 314 and one original
jp's
between 18 and 19 oz.

nothing to special. nice plain cue.

My only recent talk with a cue-maker was Paul Drexler...and it was a true pleasure. Not only did he answer his phone on the first call, but took quite a bit of his personal time to talk about everything cues to racing Corvettes... It was really fun chewing the fat with Paul...

A month and a half ago his wait was 3 to 6 months depending on how fancy one wants to get... I'm going to get on his list sometime after the New Year for a full blown butterfly, ivory handled custom, but he'll build you anything you want...a 4 point hoppe ring...whatever...and just for the record, I've hit with a fair amount of cues...and the pfd Studios I own is as solid of a cue out there and is my daily stick...it's a real pleasure playing with.

I'd also like to see who else has a shorter waiting period...
Another maker I want a cue from is Zinzola...maybe he'll pop in since he's a posting member...
Anyways, sounds like a GOOD position to be in... Have fun on your quest for a custom...let us know when you make a decision

Weinstock custom cues is back in action after a 3yr lay off to configure/build his CNC equipment.

Just sold a nice sneaky pete with a hidden stainless steel joint, he could definately fix you up to your liking.

Hit me up with a PM for exact pricing and estimated time it would take to complete.

hidden ss joint? any pictures of that?

plenty of good suggestions already on this list. i'd recommend going with one of the AZ cue makers. i like keeping the cash in the az community if i can. it goes around and comes around that way!

I would guess that 3 to 9 months would be a good time frame for most cuemakers here on AZ. There are only a handful of cuemakers in the USA who are backed up for years that actually build over a dozen cues a year. One cuemaker I know has a really long waiting list, but only builds two or three cues a year. Another I know might build a few more cues than a dozen a year, but stays covered up with repair work, so his list is really long also.

To build a Cue PROPERLY TAKES TIME, so if you are in a hurry, slow down, or your next complaint maybe worpage!

I have some available . If I don't have to wait on money , you don't have to wait on me . Paypal welcome ...:cool: P1000022.jpg

I recommend calling Rick Howard, and Dave Kikel.

I am playing with Kikel and it is really nice.
