Oh MY.... I haven't checked this thread in a few hours..
Of course I bet on Shane, and really want him to get the cash for me, but I want him to leave Corey with some self respect. If the game opens up much wider tomorrow, this could have negative effects on Corey's game.
I wish I would have known Shane was capable of this kinda speed. I coulda put 5K in action....

If we all knew that Shane had that kind of speed who would have bet 5K against him? I happen to know a lil' secret about Shane but I ain't talking. It would help explain why he seems to be even stronger than usual.
Just reading the commentary it seems he put Corey in a funk last night too. I'm not sure but did Corey just concede three games to call it quits for the night or did they quit with the high score at 47? Either way, Corey has to get his head on straight for an uphill battle tonight and he has to bring the game to win, I think he can forget getting into Shane's head.
One thing I have to wonder about is the successful manipulation of the ten ball rack. I know it is rack your own but does the other player have the right to inspect and demand a rerack or is it put the gaps where you want them? I don't keep up with ten ball much but the last I knew nobody had the kind of consistent ball making ability on the break with a tight rack that they are showing with rack your own. Just reading the commentary here, I never got any of the test feeds to work so I didn't try to buy the game.

and its going exactly how I thought it would, but I do think Corey will mount an attack in the later stages of the match, but Shane will still win.
Shane won the 10 ball in Jacksonville, and has been doing real well in tournaments he has been playing. He has been on the road, matching up, and winning. He seems to have incredible focus in his game.
Corey, on the other hand, hasn't done anything notable for awhile, maybe in gambling, I don't know, but nothing that stands out. It is 10 ball, not 9 ball, and his breaking reputation takes a dive on 10 ball, which isn't near as easy to figure out as 9 ball is. Corey is an incredible player, don't get me wrong, but he is playing another incredible player, one who is surfing with the Tide

I watched the world ten ball event in Jacksonville, and making a ball on the break isn't that hard and dropping the ten started to be routine.In that event dropping the ten in the bottom corner pockets didn't count and the ball was spotted,witch was good because it was routinely happening.I asked Cliff Joyner how he was able to accomplish this and he showed me,he was dropping the ten routinely ,watch the final match on pro pool video and you see .The ten is dropped about 3-4 times in the final.

its funny to me how everybody acts when a match gets one sided.there wasnt a person alive that would bet that one player would be 17 or 19 games ahead at the half and to prove it ill offer 3 to 1 on the next match that nobody leads by 15 at the half mark......... shane is a great guy,a great player and soon to be one of the best in the world but lets not retire corey just yet.

You really need to check yourself on comments like this, unless you know it to be so. There is alot at stake for a young guy like Shane, sponsors,ets. Comments like this could damage his rep and cause some to back off or take a wait and see position and cost the kid some offers or good deals. Not trying to be rude but think about it,

Let me make it as plain as humanly possible that I was in no way implying that Shane was playing "enhanced". To the best of my knowledge he is as straight as a string and an outstanding young man as well as an outstanding player. The "lil" in lil' secret tells the story and it definitely doesn't have anything to do with artificial enhancements, trick equipment, or anything that even slightly smacks of illegal, unethical, immoral, or fattening, well except maybe wallet fattening!
The "secret" I suspect is playing a part can be seen in the gallery.
