anyone know information about RAT CUES?

Made by Ryan Theewen through Muellers. Ryan is a frequent poster here. See his contact info in his signature here, although it sounds like he's out in Iowa attending a tournament right now.

I don't think Ryan's standard taper would be a "stiff" hit, but I am sure he could customize a shaft for you.

Some stiff hitting cues: Carmelli, Rick Howard, Sugartree, Barnhart, Southwest, Zylr, and several others. All of the listed cues are different in stiffness and play.

Bama is right...

I find Rat cues a little less stiff than the ones he mentioned.

My buddy bought one and within a year he bought another one.

I think they are a good value.

Rats are nice!!!

Ryan is a real nice guy to talk to, and hopefully will have some cues left after this tourney - check out his post in the gallery. Well, I hope he sells them all, and makes some more. The one in his avatar is going to be a beauty when it is done!!!

Ryan does great work. His cues are very well made, finish is excellent, and I like the hit. For the money, you can't go wrong getting Ryan to make a cue for you.

As stated prior, Ryan will make a cue any way that you prefer. His std. cues feature 5/15-14 piloted joints, std. weight is 19 oz and std tip is Everest.

He is proficient at wrapless, linen and especially stacked leather handles. Average balance point hovers around 18.5 - 19.25 inches from butt. Ryan is able to create any type of ringwork desired, can convert cues, and soon will be offering spliced points. Contact Ryan at 800-627-8888

I just traded for a Conversion by Rat and the cue hits lights out. The cue is an ebony dufferin conversion with butterflys and matching rings. The work on the cue is just plain awesome.

Rat Cues

I got to take a look at several at Ryan's booth at midwest over the weekend. They all looked great. I don't think you will find too many cues of this quality for the low prices he charges.

I'm just giving you some static. Let me know what you figure out. I'll let players tell you how they play then, I can fill in the gaps after that.

Hey Ryan, I just got my cue back with the leather stack wrap you put on for me, I love it, thank you...
