I don't know why Angry is in jail & I don't care. I do know that at the DCC he was entertaining. A few years back we were talking & he was looking over the final 12 players in the 9 ball with 3 of them being Filipino. He announced that he wanted to bet even money that a Filipino wouldn't win the tournament. I couldn't say how much fast enough.

I'm probably about the only player Angry has ever played even. He is definitely a fun guy. He enjoyed the action and always got something going. Yes, he sold shirts; and yes, I have a good idea why he's there. I could care less.
Why bash the guy for selling drugs to make a "good" living. I don't see anyone picketing the liqour stores or tobacco combanies.
13,470 people lost there lives due to drunk driving last year. 85,000 total alcohol related deaths.
435,000 tobacco deaths.
All other illicit drugs (by any means direct or indirect) 17,000
Removed questionable statistic

I totally agree that anyone perpetrating a crime should be prepared to face those consequences, but that does not necessarily make them a sub-standard human being.

In fact, I've had several interactions and gambled several times with Angry and he is entertaining to say the least and always cordial. If my own brother did something that he knew was illegal and then got caught, I would tell him the same thing. I play poker a couple of times a week in home games that could get raided. I know that this is illegal and if they got busted then it would be nobody's fault but my own. I would pay the fine and go on. I also speed in my car on a daily basis, but if I get caught then I pay the fine and go on.

Angry was one of the first people I ever met from Atlanta. He is truly a unique, eccentric and entertaining person! If you look past his dry (and sometimes very obnoxious) humor, you will see that he's actually a pretty good guy.
He may not have made the 'correct' choices in life regarding his occupation, but I do know that given his circumstances, he did what he could do to survive and to take care of other family members. He is not a compulsive gambler. Yes, he will definitely bet it up, but it is merely part of his income-earning activities (obviously, not a guarantee).
I'm sure he would welcome any correspondence from the pool world. Please keep him in mind. Thanks.
