It happens A LOT. Wouldn't be a bit surpised if DAZ actually did most of the work and several of the games that would have been on his side of the string were given away as two-ball tap ins. I just watched an old U.S. Open match on YouTube last night (CJ Wiley v. Earl) where CJ won something like 11-4...actual balls made count was almost 2-1 Earl, but he choked or got out of position on the 7 about 4 times in the match. It happens all the time. I'm much more impressed when a local talent or unknown who goes hill-hill or stays within two racks of a world beater. It's a great game and the final score line isn't as important as the win.
Funny, I almost watched that match last night too, but chose svb/ wang can 10b instead.
Don't blame you...that was one of my favorite blow outs (I've got it saved in iTunes), rare to see SVB on full tilt...a 21 year old Chinese kid who has no idea he's supposed to lose that match, he just calmly smokes the best player in the world!
