Aranas vs. Filler Ten Ball

Filler is destroying DD today.
Day 2 so far is Filler: 19 and DD: 3
Overall score is Filler: 46 and DD: 36

Filler's position play isn't exactly flawless but it seems like he's shooting his way out of it every time.

This is a ridiculous performance today by Filler. And, enjoyable to watch with a brisk pace of play.

All the "carbon-haters" must be sportin' chubbies watchin' this since both are using wood play shafts. ;)

12K by just a couple of backers.

they split donations 3 way, 2 players and streamer.

It was 59-53 Filler when James had a 6 ball skid and hang. Filler ran out to go 60-53, then broke and ran the next 6 to close out day two 66-53 on an unfinished run. This might be the best 10 ball run I've ever seen and it's in progress until tomorrow! Two jump shots on the 1, a 1 ball so tough I didn't even consider offense, and a lot of tough shots. What a beast!

I don't know if SVB can get there with this kid. Filler's break is at least as good and he's hungry and playing like a darned machine. I couldn't get much action on Filler this set but if he wins I feel like I win two bets. The one I made, and the one I saved from seeing this and not betting SVB if they match up. I'm a believer.

Filler blew him up today! He just dominated those balls like only a really great player can. He made them do his bidding.
Many good shots but my favorite was when he broke up that six-nine duo near the end today. He made a very hard shot look easy.

I'll nominate the title of this match as the greatest ever match title:

The Quarantine 10-ball Duel

Seriously, does it get any better than this title? It's a match title I'll never forget, even though I haven't been watching.

Most of the credit goes to Roy's Basement here, but bravo to Aranas for taking on a stone cold killer like Filler and also to Josh for playing a great, in form player on his home table, but Filler has, to some extent, developed his strong pedigree by regularly matching up with the top Asian players. Also, I don't know if Filler has ever played a long race before, so win or lose, he's gaining some great experience here.

Both of these players are representing our game well, and I commend them both. Good luck to both of them in Session 3 tomorrow.

Aranas doesn't have enough sustained firepower to hang with Filler in a really long race of winner breaks.

Short races, another story. Toss up. Especially if they play alternate breaks.
