Archer and Deuel WTF !!!

There is WAY too much telling the other player where he wants the QB on the US team. These guys are the best in the world...they know where to put the QB. Each player has his own way to get shape that HE is comfortable with. Just get the hell up there and shoot the balls in. Johnnyt

Sorry if this is the billionth time this question has been asked, but I've been out of the loop lately...

Are you watching the Mosconi Cup in Sopcast, and if so, what channel?

I read somewhere that you can access it on Sopcast through some German channel on Sopcast.

Smoking Squirrel Drinker will know the answer.

I could not remember your forum name, but I tried to give a descriptive name, so JSP would know who you were to inquire.

I heard it from a little birdie that TEAM USA is practicing behind the scenes to gear up for each match.

Tony Drago is a rhythm player and, like others have written, when he's on, he will be unstoppable. Rhythm players don't like slow play. I know there is a time clock in use, but maybe they should pit Johnny Archer against Drago. Playing Johnny might be difficult to overcome for a rhythm player.

I think the spirit of Team USA is strong, but having tournaments in Vegas is a BIG distraction for SOME -- not all - pool players. AND the big distraction is not always gambling. In a different environment, I think the teams would be doing other things on the offs. Vegas is fun, but this is a high-profile event of competition. Every team member should be focused on the tournament at hand.

Archer and Deuel are playing like a couple of Bad League Players WTF ????

I applaud Davenport for adding Shane, our new young gun, but it's time for Archer, Morris and Strickland to go. Schmidt should be there!

That is exactly what I would be saying too! Perhaps not Archer... per se.... but the other two are corroding! Dito to Schmidit and they need another up-and-coming player to take over the other spot.

Morris is a must to get on out........Replace with Schmidt......
Keep Archer cause he still has alot of game left in him!!
Deuel as well but its a toss up
Strickland will find his gear soon and will be loved and worshipped like a god like SVB :):):):):)

Not over til its over!

Lets remember that our guys are still in this thing! I feel as some that there are a couple of players that have been in the mix too long, but check Earls M.C. record and you will see that removing him is not an option. I would love to see Danny Basavich and Danny Harriman on this team for just pure heart and determination. I really get upset when the announcers of these events continually talk about Earls actions, but when he explodes they jump up and down with both feet. With the exception of Shane, Earl is the best player on that team period, and I feel it is a matter of time before he wins a big event. Who on earth made the rule about the 3 balls having to cross the line or its a foul? Today the break killed the USA momentum over and over and I would be willing to put up the extra quarters for a race to 9 or 11.:D

Earl's actions are simply uncalled for

Earl's antics are simply too much for an international event like this. After Corey diminishing Tony Drago's play in the interview after their match and Earl acting like an idiot AGAIN, we look like some poor babies. I don't care if these guys have an excellent winning percentage, we need to show better class and sportsmanship. Our sport is already hurting by not having a top tier fully functioning league with sponsors and investors. Earl is NOT helping.

maybe they have a bet on team europe

They were offering 20-1 after Day 1, right? Was it available at any of the sports books in Vegas? Or only abroad? Hard to believe somebody wouldn't be tempted by such easy money.

who cares who wins, in that short a race it means nothing. why don't they just add up all the games won/lost at the end to decide a winner. maybe that would be too fair for the pool world (kinda like our presidential elections). a player like woods would be vulnerable if you play 3 holes, federer would be beatable if you play 6 points, it's just idiotic, it means absolutely nothing, who cares who wins under these conditions??. why can't we reward good players with 1) a good and worthy game to play and 2) races worthy of the talent of the players.

pool is probably one of the only sports which is willing to disgrace its players with such short races.
