I have one little rant I have to go on before the end of the year, it's been bothering me since November and last night someone said I should post it so here it is. We will start in November at a Viking Stop, there was a player auction being held and I wanted to purchase this certain player. We will just call him ML, so i was able to get this player for $125 which he is a good player and worth that much. I go and see if ML would like to buy have himself back and he him-haws around about it and never gives me a definate answer. Tournament starts and his match gets called and ML loses then goes to the tournament director and says i forfeit my other match because i'm gonna go over to the next city and play in their weekly tournament. I was in the middle of a match myself and when i was done one of my friends told me what ML did. My blood right then began to boil, it kind of ticked me off as a bidder of player autions and as a pool player. I calmed down over the weeks until last night when at another tournament out of town i run into ML again and watch him go for like $70 in this aution ( I did not bid on him this time). Knowing that if he loses his first match this person who bought him could be out $70 like i was out my money. Now i might not be in the right to be mad about this but it just get's to me and maybe it shouldn't. I know when you bid in the autions you run certain risks but i feel a risk you should not have to run is being walked like that. So there is my rant i appreciate anyone who takes the time to read this and watch who you bid on in the autions and definatly watch out for ML!!!
