So I purchased... wait no Thought I purchased a cue from http://www.arnotq.com/. He was more than willing to talk to me during the purchase period, once he got the sale though not a peep. he missed the the delivery date. so I have been calling him for 4 Months to try and get an estimated time on delivery. I am still waiting!

AS you can see I did not ask for anything fancy. So If you are asking for more elaborate work don't expect to get it done. do not pay anything more then $50 to start.

you won't get your product or a call back!!!!
 
I ordered a cue from him last year. Sent him an email through his website, he then called me on the phone. Awesome customer service...cue arrived a week later. I couldnt have been happier with the transaction.

A few months back I emailed him again about a cue design I had been thinking of. Sent him 3 emails, and no response. No response on his shop phone either. I was wondering if he quit making cues, or if something happened to him.

I hope you get some resolution with your cue. Did you pay for it? I'd love an update, too, but just to let you know, you're not the only person having trouble getting in contact with Arnot....sorry....
 
I heard last summer, that he was looking to quit making cues, due to some health issues. His web guy is my web guy, and that's who told me. I don't know if he quit permanently, or just still has health issues.

I do not think he has been producing...at least since Oct 2012. I hope he is OK which I am sure he is not.
 
Paid Arnot Wadsworth to build a Cue - no delivery, no contact since 12/15/12

I ordered a cue, made a down payment of $1000 last year Jan 2012. I had been in contact with Aront in March, June, September and December of 2012. Each time he said the cue would be done and shipped "soon". I have tried many times to contact him in 2013. He has never responded to my phone messages, emails and text messages.
 
I was at his shop in Oct. It looked inactive. And he was on the phone with a vendor trying to collect an outstanding $15.00 bill(from Arnot) for cue parts.
Guys...it might be time to take legal action if he has your money and is not responding.
If you paid by PayPal...contact them.

Arnot Q ordered - Not Delivered

I also ordered a cue from Arnot last jan 2012. Gave him a down payment of $720. I contacted him in July, Sept and December 2012. he told me that it was going to be done in Jan 2013. Since then have called him over 20 times with no reply. Does anyone know the status of him?
 
How about if someone leaves a message or email that they are interested in having a cue made. See how that turns out.
 
I just can't understand paying somebody months before you are to receive something.nothing good can come of that. Sorry it appears you got screwed over, I've read several of these stories on here. Hopefully others will learn a lesson from this. I know I will never put a deposit on a cue.
 
Arnot Wadsworth - legal action needed

Thank you guys for giving me information on Arnot Wadsworth. Arnot took my money ($1000) and lied to me and never delivered a cue. Hopefully we can prevent others getting defrauded.

Actually, Arnot is Mr. Perfect. He was always quick to point out any other cue makers or posters mistakes or short comings in either the Machinery Forum or Ask the Cue Maker.

Apparently, he hit the Jack Pot on more than a couple of cue deals here.

Guess he will have to change his name to Mr. CueNot.

Funny how things turn out sometimes. In saying this, I am truly sorry to know that more than a couple of people have been burned for money and also their custom cue.

It hurts to get ripped off for even a couple of hundred but when a person has a dream of owning a custom made cue and that has been shattered also adds insult to injury.

Thats why it is so ironic, that a person who pretended to be perfect ends up joining the FK up list on AZ.

Many members here that live in Fla. Hope someone is close enuff to go knock on his door some day.
 
That's a crappy situation...Hope it works out somehow. Thanks for warning others who may have gotten swindled.

Hey I'm getting a new cue.......ARENOT.....fitting name.
 
Before you continue to crucify this guy, someone needs to verify what his status is. Someone said he was sick? He could've passed? Or he did screw a bunch of people over. Is anyone in the area to make a visit to his "shop"?

If he has died, use the receipts for your cues/down payments to get your money back via the estate.
 
Arnot Wadsworth - I talked to him last night

I am one of the folks that have ordered from Arnot Wadsworth, paid a down payment and after more than a year, I have not received a cue. I called Arnot yesterday evening, and Arnot answered. Arnot is with us still. This was the first I heard from him since December 2012. Something is wrong with him. I did not get an answer that made sense.

Does anyone know of cue builders in the Atlanta metro area? I would like a custom built cue and this time I will deal with the person face to face to avoid the problems I am having with Arnot.

Thanks for any advice you may have.
