So, the other night at Mikeys here in oklahoma city, I got assaulted for 4 dollars.
I got off and went over to play pool, shot for about an hour, and a girl near me had a few dollars in quarters on her table. She and I talked a little bit, and then some guy ran up and broke a pool cue over my head, and ran out with her money.
Live and learn I guess, just a heads up to everyone out there about how random some stuff like that can be. Hope everyone had a good holidays
1. Did anybody notice the guy that hit you hanging around inside, or did he run in, do the time honored "smash and grab" & run out just as fast as he came in?
2. Hope that wasn't a practice run for a real run in and BANG! You're whacked and the story ends with a chalk outline.
3 Why didn't somebody crush him before he made it to the door. Or was it women's night?
4.Did you ever play baseball? You got 16 nice, round and hard balls to throw for all you're worth at the back of his head if you're not fast enough to run him down and......well, you know. (I couldn't find a little face to insert here that had blood all over it, so this will have to do....

)
5. When you posted the words "heads up", was that pun intended or unintended?
6.Did the owner comp your table time for your troubles or did he charge you for the cue?
7. Cues to the head don't hurt nearly as bad as a half of a brick smashed into the back of your head. I've been hit in the head with a cue, the aforementioned half a brick, a blackjack, a trunk lid from a Ford Escort, a chair that was too heavy for the guy to swing hard enough to stun me so that really back fired on him and too many punches, kicks, elbows and knees to count. Of them all, the blackjack stung the most. Pool cues really don't hurt that much at all.
8. Did the woman you were "talking" with seem to know the hit & run guy?
9. Mike Templeton's comments about "I hate to hear that...about any cue getting destroyed" was pretty funny stuff. Kudo's to him for cleverness.
10. Here is some good rep for you and sincere best wishes for a better year.
(Glad you're OK and hope this post makes you smile a little)
