Do you have any "regular" AZer matchups that you would like to see take place?

I don't know how they play but I would like to see NYC Dude and Collection Guru play if their games are similar. Has Dababr and John Hendy matched up previously?

Some of these matchups that I have above are simply because I don't know their games and would like to see them get into the box. Maybe we could have a committee to match up the games and the matches could take place at tournaments around the country.

I still think a FAT CAT RING GAME would be fun to sweat.

Anyone have any other matchups that they would like to see? Maybe if we ever get a good enough matchup, TAR could send it out on their system for everyone to see. I can't speak for them but it would be nice for everyone on AZ to sweat AZer matches....

I want to play in a ring game with BSjake..Poked and Easy....
according to the bobby pickel rules of one beer every 15 mins... .
But not 12 oz coors or even hinney's.....the 1/2 liter Germans...my brand "Alten Munster Helles Lager'...nice and tiddy 8%

over under on everyone (save for me) passing out or pukeing would be 2 1/2 hours...

If you supply the beer, you can rest assured, me and easy will be there. I am a liquor drinker myself, though. When I was deployed to the United Arab Emirates, the only beer they had on tap was Stella Artois. I put away quite a few of those during my 4 month stint there.

2 racks would do it ...40 "Alten Munsters" is more than enough, even split 4 ways...

I will even cover table time.....

You guys ever make it over here and it's on!!!!

what power break? i was having a hard time even hitting the right ball. i'll be down at kolby's tomorrow night if you wanna hit some. we can play some on the bar table and i'll speed up my break a little.

What happened to Joy Boy vs. The Gingerbread Man? Catch me if you can and all that good stuff. I think that should be the first match that TAR features. We could meet somewhere on neutral territory. I'm ready to take my licking like a man. :)

Jay and Joey,

Kansas City is in the middle of the country and Dan Tull has a few really sweet Diamond tables perfect for a 1-pocket/bank pool match up. Also, I believe Dan and TAR are trying to work out a match on the Bar Table between two monster players in the near future:D :D

I would LOVE to sweat a straight pool match between Steve Lipsky and sjm. That would be a treat....a lot of accumulated knowledge there.

I used to play "Chief" down there at Little Reno. And some kid, I can't remember his name. Oh yeah, Mousey, back when he play played. I'll make it down for sure. I did win a little at the Yellow Rose? Some bar with about five boxes? John McCloud's tourney at the "T Bar" is the shit. I've done OK there, too. John? How's he doin?

I've only been here since last April and Yellow Rose had closed down right before I got here. Heard it was a good place for action. John is still running the tournament at Micky's. I haven't been able to play that one a while. My work schedule change at work that I work on that night. He is still shooting them really well. You won't believe this new poolhall they have here. You can throw a rock from Little Reno and hit this new poolhall. Bad blood between the two owners ;)

Yeah, and what happened to the Jay Helfert woofing at Josh aka nine ball? :) That monkey claimed he was going to beat me and Joey back to back. :D

The monkey comment is just a joke. But even if you elect to ignore my posts I'm still going to mess with you Jay. Just don't take it personal. :)

I'd imagine. If you get up this way, look me up. I am easy to find. John matches up tighter than a wing nut with liquid nail. Nice guy. He's put me on several spots. I just thought of the kid. They called him "Boo." I used to give him the seven. Tough, though. I heard he "hadn't been around" for a while, there.
 
Quick question. Just so I can kind of get a jist of how some of these guys play. Those of you who have seen them play. How would Jay, Josh, Joey, and any other match up with say Sparky, or BJ Ussery? Just so I can know the caliber of woofing and actual play?
